I leave Celeste's side early in the morning. As I round the corner of the hallway, I feel a presence enter my mind. I try to turn but it's too late, Celene emerges from the shadows, a muderous look on her pale face. She's taken over my nervous system.
"Stick to the plan Aaron." She spits.
"She deserves to know. "
"No, not until Iris and her sisters are killed. And don't go falling in love with her. "
"She won't end up like her mother, Celene."
"Well how do we know?" She's raging now, "She was created to kill. Her mother destroyed the world, her dad was biologist who was charged with feeding the lab animals people. Dead people! Aaron, we need to dispose of her relatives before they activate her microchip."
"Just forget about the microchip!" I yell, "I'm microchiped! Thanks to this I thought I could never love anyone, and I feel something for Celeste. I have to tell her. I'm programmed to never lie, and to protect anyone of the royal family."
"WELL DO YOU KNOW WHY YOU'RE MICROCHIPED!?" Celene yells.
"Because I was part of the guard."
"No," her voice comes out in a whisper and she tilts her head up, sometimes it seems like she can see, "it's because I fell in love with you, and you loved me. My mother found out and I told her I was using you, I told her that you meant nothing, that I didn't care about you. So, she suggested that I microchip you. I thought I made it so you'd never fall in love again, but I was wrong. I was so selfish. You were supposed to be mine." She sobs a crazed look in her eyes as she caresses my face , "I love you. " Then she kisses me.
"I'm a Teen Idle." She says.
Her grip on my brain loosens and I turn to see a gaping Celeste.
She runs to me and says, "I love you. I don't care anymore."
I pull back and see that her entire body is glowing.
---------------In a castle somewhere-------
"Ha,ha, daughter. Fine, be foolish. Let the games begin."
