I didn't catch up to Aaron. Turns out he teleported himself to the room. T_T I took 8 flights of stairs! That doesn't sound like a lot, but I have spent the last month doing virtually nothing. When I did get to the room, I got this: "You mean, the girl who is supposed to save the world and who has powers, didn't think of just teleporting to the room?" Yep. Best family ever!
After they had their fun belittling me, Celene told us the plan.
"Ok, so first we have to get our disguises on. After we're dressed we will set up our "shop" in town. The money made will be used in the revolution, and we have agents who will visit to tell us what is happening to the people and their loyalty to their queen. " Celene says.
Once we have our orders, I walk to my room to get dressed. I open the door and gasp. It's beautiful! It's a one shoulder blue dress. The skirt is short and ends at my knees, and when I move the dress changes from a cerulean blue to a vibrant violet. The dress's accessories are equally stunning. A white, diamond necklace stands out from the cool-colored ensemble, but doesn't distract from the dress's allure. The formal outfit is finished off with a pair of violet heels.
I've worn outfits like this at Camilla's palace, but I never looked this vibrant. The artificial colors in my hair match perfectly with the attire.
I exit my room and walk to the living room. All of the others are there. Celene, Elexia, and Lassandra are wearing similar dresses, but Celene's is red, Elexia's is emerald green, and Dria's is a sunny yellow. Aaron is wearing formal attire like us, but it doesn't posses a technicolor shade like our dresses. Instead it's a modern take on the suit from the previous world.
"Are we all ready to go?" Elexia asks.
"Yeah," we reply in unison.
"Let's go." We walk out of our lavish hotel and turn right. The people look so different from what I'm used to. Flamboyant hair and makeup rests atop the womans' heads. I turn to ask Elexia why, but I see her wearing the same hair and makeup. She saw my complexed expression, and pulls me toward her, "I'm using my power to manipulate my appearance, so is Celene. Aaron's and Dria's appearances are disguised by me. Use your powers to do the same." she whispers.
I think of an elaborate braid that starts in a crown of purple roses and falls down my back in cruls, and bright blue eyeliner that goes to my hairline on the side, along with bright violet lips and purple eyeshadow. I turn to Elexia and she nods in approval.
After about 30 more minutes Elexia announces, "It's right ther-" I turn my head and see a group of rough looking men and women. Guards!
"Run." Aaron whispers. But not before they spot us.
