Unknown POV

Wednesday-February 14, 2024

I sat around my desk with a laptop set infront me and smiled at what was being displayed infront me. I know—it's very coward of me to not kill Rodriguez my self but if I had things wouldn't run smoothly as I wanted it to.

I don't understand how such an illiterate man lived this long. He doesn't think a lot of things through which is mind boggling for a multi millionaire.

I closed down the laptop after a burning building was displayed on my screen.

I know for a fact the plan I sent did not say burn down the building. Might as well I went and killed him myself.

I stood and exited the office. Now, since I'm that fool's so-called "son," I'm expected to run his reckless empire. But before I take over his mess of a business, there are a few things I need to handle.

First on my list? Kill the man who also played a role in my mother's death—my biological father.

Landon's POV

Wednesday-February 14, 2024

"Danika long time no see." My father said walking down the stairs.

"You too mr. Lewis." Danika smiled, standing up. Mi wah know if she feel she a therapist boh she a fix problem.

I hissed causing everyone to look my way.

"Landon that's bad manners." Hazel scolded while pointed her finger at me.

See why mi cah gree wid har?

"Tell him again Hazel, no manners him nave." Walking dead said finally down the stairs.

"Danika are you and my unruly son really together?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.

Danika smiled awkwardly and looked at me then back at walking dead not saying anything.

Shame a kill mi

Anuh like wi deh so mi nuh shame..

Yo shame

"Hmm?"

"We're..." Danika started but stopped.

"Focus pan yo Oman weh a gi yo bun as we speak and not pan we." I spoke up and got a giggle from walking dead.

A muss gyal bout him a hehehe.

"Landon we need to have a talk." He said seriously and I sighed.

He walked off in the direction of his office and I followed. Wonda a wah him wah mi fi doh now.

I closed the door behind me and exhaled.

"Landon, you're slacking. You shouldn't have done that..." he face palmed and sat around his desk.

"He stole from us."

"So what? I put you in charge to see how you'd do and you started taking orders from someone else." He sighed.

"I was going to do that regardless of what that man told me." I defended.

"Landon if you don't start using your head you are going to die right after me. You stole the man's child and I said nothing and now you do this? And instead of going on the low or finding out who called you, you're on a date with someone who doesn't consider you their boyfriend.—"

"—I don't know what's gotten into you since you came back to Jamaica but fix your self, get your head space right." He said with no emotion on display.
