Friday-February 9, 2024

I stared at Zariah as she shared the gossip that she wasn't able to share over the phone.

"Ohhhhh!!" She jumped up snapping her fingers together.

"Wah?" I looked at her confused on the sudden burst of energy.

"Mi figot fi tell yo but one nice bwoy transfer yer." I smiled shaking my head.

"A that yah gwan suh fah?" I laughed, shaking my head.

"When yo see him yah guh understand."

"Which grade him inna?" I asked even though I didn't really care.

"Eleven, him get kick from him last school mi hear." I made a 'o' with my mouth after hearing.

"Suh how you and such bwoy?" I asked making her blush.

"We locked in." She said still blushing.

"I wanna be like youuuu" I cooed getting sad about Landon and I's relationship. He starting to get inconsistent and makes me think he's with a different girl 24/7 because he's so secretive and doesn't tell me about his whereabouts, but who am I to care?

"Doh worry di new bwoy and you aguh be the it couple watch." Zariah said then continued to tell me about the new boy.

I sat in Kayla's class on my phone waiting for Zariah to come back with the food she went to collect from her man.

"Ehem"

I looked up and was greeted by a new face. I immediately knew that this was the boy Zariah was talking about.

"Yes?" I said trying to sound nice for him. He smiled and then pulled a chair beside me.

"Mi did aguh tell yo seh yo inna mi seat but yo gov." He explained making me smile.

I looked over at Kayla who was side eyeing me, I looked back at him ignoring Kayla's glances now and then.

"So wah you name?" He asked and his voice could melt me.

"Danika... Weh you name." I asked trying to remember the name Zariah told me earlier.

"Justin." Ohhhhhh.

That sounds niceee Danika and Justin. What if Justin was just in me? Ahhhh.

Not even know the bwoy good yet and yah think boh that.

We talked for a while until Zariah came back with food and hickeys on her neck. Before I left he took my number and said he would text me when he gets home.

"Gwan man cause mi wah know weh you get hickey from." I hissed then we both laughed.

Today ran off fast which is sad because I won't see him till Monday.. If I could build my type I would build him. I just hope his personality doesn't ruin him.
