Thursday- February 15, 2024

I entered my car and sighed. I don't know why I even bother trying to save myself when I know my faith is sealed. I started up my car and left my premises.

I tried not to drive hard and reckless incase that was the way I was gonna die.

The safe house finally came in my view point and I beeped my horn to get the security to let me in. One of the securities came out and checked my vehicle before letting me in. This was the extra security Landon added to the safe houses.

I drove in and parked, quickly getting out of my car. I entered the safe house and since this was the inner gang house there wasn't too much gang members around.

I don't know why but I felt a sense of safeness here. I guess I have to give Landon his props.

I greeted everyone I came across and I went up to one of the rooms to rest. After my nap I'll go visit my love; Landon's mother.

I lied down on the bed getting comfortable but tensed up when my door opened and closed. A masked man entered and took off their mask.

"Tray!" I sat up with a smile saying.

"Did you sell my mother.." he asked and I was confused.

"Your mother?" I questioned and he looked up at me with glossy eyes.

"Mrs. Walters... mi second mother figure." I froze and then laughed.

"I don't understand what you are on about." I shrugged but then two more masked men entered the room. This time they didn't reveal themselves.

"Did you sell my mother to Rodriguez?" He asked and I sighed.

"She cheated on me." I stated remembering what took place.

Flashback

I smiled as I entered the house, eager to see my wife and share the good news.

But I froze when I saw Naviah in the corner—with my best friend. She looked up at me, and I couldn't tell if the tears in her eyes came before or after she saw me. Either way, it didn't matter.

She tried to push him off, but he hadn't noticed me yet so he didn't budge. How could she cheat on me? And with my best friend...? And while pregnant?

Rage took over. I stormed across the room, yanked him off her, and grabbed her by the neck.

"Naviah, really? You cheated on me with my best friend... while pregnant?" I growled, disgust flooding my voice.

"He was going to rape me!" she screamed through her tears.

"You were the one who wanted me to touch you," Alfonso said calmly.

I tightened my grip on her neck. I believed him—he was composed, while she was frantic.

"Stop... I can't... bre—"
Her words cut off as she lost consciousness and collapsed in my hands.

Tray looked at me as if I was crazy and then shook his head. He stepped back and the mask men charged at me.

I removed the bag from his head and was met with a smiling man.

I slammed his head back into the wall behind him and he wrenched in pain.
