"Crowley what the hell do you want from me?" I demanded.
"I simply want you to kill all the demons that are plotting a revolution against me. That's all." Crowley said, making it sound simple.
"That's not a simple task, Crowley. First, I have to hunt them, individually, then figure out how to kill them based on there level of evil. How the hell am I supposed to find that out? Even if they're all basic level and easy, I will still have to hunt them individually. Who knows how many there are?" I said.
"Ten. They're all your basic demon, and all of them are in the same place. They're in Chicago, an abandoned warehouse." Crowley said.
"Like that's any easier. I have school you know!" I said.
"That's why you'll do it over winter break. All the radicals will be gathered there, if there are any more." Crowley said.
"I'm sacrificing my Christmas to ensure your rule. What a shitty Christmas." I said.
"Consider it your gift to me." Crowley said with a smile.
"Like I'd ever get you a gift." I said, glaring.
"Aww, I'm hurt birdy. Really." Crowley zapped out.
"He isn't useful to you anymore, why haven't you killed him yet?" I asked dad and uncle Sam.
"Because he knows stuff about you we don't. The more we cooperate the more he tells us." Uncle Sam said.
"Sam!" Dad yelled.
"It's time she knew the truth, Dean." Uncle Sam yelled. "She's sixteen and smart." Uncle Sam said.
"Fine." Dad caved, then turned to me. "I'm gonna tell you everything that Crowley has told us about you. Are you ready?"
"Hold on." I sat in a chair. "Alright, spill."
"First, a warlock put a spell on you that you'll have magic, not witchy magic but magic, because of this you won't be able to bear your own children even though you bleed monthly and that you will eventually stop aging because of the demon blood. Your uncle was detoxed so he'll continue to age." Dad said.
"Two comments. One, I'm gonna have to get a certain surgery done. Two, all least I'll be with Alyss when I stop aging." I said, really wanting to break down and cry. I'm not going have kids with my DNA, ever. I've always wanted kids, I'll never stop wanting them. I have always wanted to look at my children and see part of me in them. I'll never have that. "I'm going to get my weapons prepared for the winter."
I went to my room by myself. I did prepare a suitcase for the hunt. Then I layed on my bed, listening to music, thinking about what dad had just told me and I began to cry. Alyss got worried and came downstairs.
"Darling are you okay? What's wrong?" Alyss asked.
"I won't ever look at my kid and see a part of me. I won't ever look at a kid and see a part of my appearance they inherited. I won't ever be able to look at my kid and think 'I did that when I was their age' or 'that's definitely not from me' or something like that. I won't see my kid and see part of me, physically. Could I really know what loving a child is if I don't birth it?" I said while crying.
"Your child may not look like you, but neither will mine. We share the same burdens. Loving a child to the full extent doesn't mean you have to give birth to the child. We'll adopt our children. We'll love them endlessly. We'll look at them lovingly and raise them as if we had birthed them. When you look at our children, you'll see what they learned from you. How they act, how they decide things, their mannerisms, their attitude, the way they talk, not everything a child does is inherited. It's going to be okay." Alyss said reassuringly.
"Really? You promise?" I asked like a child.
"I promise." Alyss kissed the top of my head while rocking me side to side.
When I went back upstairs, I had a newfound appreciation for everything. Food, clothes, electronics, furniture, indoor toiletries, everything. Alyss knows how to help me get out of a depression spell. I get depressed every now and then, and Alyss knows exactly how to pull me out of it. What can I say? When you're in love, your significant other knows how to help you.
