Betrayal

chapter 4

I don’t understand my sister’s ex-mate. He should just leave her be and let her find someone else. I was lying in my tent when I heard footsteps around our camp. I might not have my wolf yet but my senses where more heightened till i have to share them. I saw a shadow pass the tent and just sat still thinking it was my sister or one of our friends. I rolled over and drifted off to sleep.

I woke to a scream but it was Sabrina. I jumped out of the tent to find that girl my sister said Alex cheated on her with was stalking toward Sabrina and was being held from behind by a guy. I swear this pack likes fights. I tackled the girl and stood up, She looked at me and shifted to her wolf lunging. I heard a voice in the back of my head “I’m here, don’t worry” I was confused but was tackled to the ground by the wolf. I was freaking out but then thought about the situation… I’m going to die plain and simple… “Not while I’m here” It then felt like my bones where breaking and then recognized it was my wolf’s voice. I wasn’t caring about the wolf on me. Just the pain I felt then and now. The next thing I know I’m a wolf and snapping at her face. I feel another body grab me and hold me down. “Dean! Help me!” my sister yelled at me in my head. This must be the pack link thingy. I turned towards her and saw some where attacking her. They must have had people close by. We were all trying to help each other but I was being held to the ground.

I was mad because they were touching my little sister and hurting her. My heart broke when I heard most of the pack yelping or snarling. Sam breaks away from the wolves guarding her and while the wolves holding me had been distracted I latched onto one’s throat and snapped it. It was a male; I then turned toward the female that was staring at me in hate. I growled and lunged at her. I snapped my jaws around her front leg. I bit down till I heard a snap and her yelp in pain. She fell to the ground and I circled her. I snapped at her back leg and broke it too. I was then tackled again but by my best mate ash. I growled and saw that my sister was trapped again and her “mate” had joined the other two wolves. I pushed him off and lunged at the closest tearing a wolf off her.

They all backed away from us and watched are every move, ready to fight. Alex was holding the she wolf Emily. I saw Sam and are friends shift “leave us be before more damage is made to your pack Alex” it was Sabrina that said this. I looked at ash “dude how do I shift back” “just think of your human form” I nodded and thought of myself. Hm I’m not too bad looking. I saw my paws turn to hands and feet. I stood up “Alex if you leave are pack alone we will let you leave in piece” they just glared at us “you aren’t a pack, your just a bunch of rogue's” we growled “this is the last warning leave or die… you chose” they growled everyone was tense and looking at each other waiting for someone to make a move for what felt like an eternity till alex finally said “get in the car’s were leaving! But I will get what I want” I growled and took a step forward but stopped as Sabrina and ash grabbed my arm. He wanted my sister but he wasn’t getting her.

“I think it’s time for an alpha” we nodded and We all got on some clothes and started a fire. We only had a few scrapes and bruises but besides that we were fine. Sabrina and Selenas' dog came running out of the woods but with a muzzle on it. they even mute the dog. they took the muzzle off and pet her. We sat on logs in silence, until Felix spoke “ now who shall be alpha?” without considering it we all said one name “Sam” but then we heard Sam say ash “really -.- we vote for you and you vote for someone else” we all gave her weird looks. She shrugged “well since it one against six I guess ya’ll win…Im alpha” Felix spoke next “well what do we do now alpha” Sam made a disgusted face and shook her head “god no don’t call me alpha and now we leave town and find new territory” we nodded and threw a few more sticks in and watched the fire burn.
