I woke up at 9. I was still half awake when I got up.

I looked at my phone. "Oh crap." I said under my breath.

It's Monday. "No no no no." I said rumbling through my closet for clothes.

I got ready and quickly went down stairs.

But the time I was down stairs it was 10.

"Ugh I'm late." I said looking at my watch and literally running out the door to school.

As I was speed walking down the side walk. Colby walked out of his house. "I rolled my eyes and acted like I didn't see him.

"Hey, Chelsea." He yelled. Oh no.

I ignored him.

"I know you hear me." He said.

If I look at him I'm gonna collapse into tears so I don't know what to do right now.

I clutched my backpack. He caught up to me and twisted me around.

"What do you want?" I said. "Why are you ignoring me?" He asked.

I laughed a little that he asked that. "You did not just ask me that." I said turning to walk away.

"Chelsea tell me." He said.

Here came the tears. I turned back around. "You don't understand do you?" I asked.

"What?" He asked. "You don't understand how bad you hurt me that day and all the days after." I said crying more.

"Chelsea." He said looking me straight in the face. "Yeah you don't get it." I said turning around.

I finally made it to school. It was in between 2nd and 3rd period by now.

Colby was still chasing after me yelling my name. I spotted Devin and started running to him. Devin saw me running to himself he was confused at first then realized I was crying and running from Colby.

I got behind him. "Woah woah woah." He said holding his hands up.

"What are you doing?" He asked. "Trying to talk to Chelsea." Colby said.

"Looks to me like she doesn't want to talk to you." He said.

"Look why don't you just leave her alone." Devin said calmly. Colby gave me the death look then walked away.

Devin turned around and hugged me tightly. I sobbed loudly. "Shhh, it's ok." He said rubbing my back.

"Devin what am I gonna do, I want to forgive him but he scares me, did you see the look he gave me, what if Jordan is like brain washing him, what if he-" he cut me off.

"Shh I'm sure he's fine, he's just an idiot." He said. I laughed a little.

"Thanks Devin." I said. "Your welcome, now, why were you late?" He asked. For some odd reason my alarm didn't go off and I woke up late." I said wiping some tears off of my face.

"Come on." He said putting his arm around me as we walked to our next class.

Me and Devin walked into lunch. Everyone was already at our usual table.

"Chelsea." Sam said. "Hey." I said.

"Where have you been?" He asked. "Well I woke up late because my alarm didn't go off and I was running from Colby." I said. "Did he touch you." He asked.

"Yes, but Sam-" I said but he cut me off. "I'm gonna kill him." He said slamming his hands on the table and standing up.

"No Sam don't-" I said but he kept on walking over to Colby.

Me and Devin were still standing and Devin made me sit down so I wouldn't try to stop them.

"This is gonna get bad." I said.

I watched as Sam yanked Colby up by his collar and they started full on fighting.

Some teachers finally broke them apart.

"Great, he gonna get suspended." I said.

Literally everyone in the lunchroom were watching.

"Sam I can't believe you." I practically yelled.

"What was I supposed to do just let him think he can keep talking to you and touch you or should I let him know that he can't communicate with you anymore." He said.

"Sam I didn't what you two to fight, you two are supposed to be friends not enemies, you are Sam and Colby not Sam...... And ....... Colby." I said demonstrating with my hands.

He brushed his fingers through his hair and sighed.

"I'm sorry, I guess I'm a little protective." He said. I laughed. "Ha, a little?" I asked. He smiled and sat down.

"You should get some sleep you've been through a lot today." I said. "Alright." he said.

"Goodnight." I yelled. "Yeah yeah." He said.
