Sam ran in.

He gasped when he entered the kitchen.

"Sam we have to get him to the hospital." I said.

"Ok come on help him get up." He said.

We helped him up and we walking him out to Sam's car.

We started driving to the hospital. I had blood all over my hands. I really didn't care at this point.

I was in the back seat with Devin as Sam drove.

"Call Reed, Abby, Jake and Colby." Sam said.

I got out my phone. Again I could barely dial their numbers.

I eventually told them to come to the hospital.

We arrived at the hospital. Me and Sam helped Devin in.

"Hey we need some help over here!" Sam said.

Some doctors came running out with a gurney and took Devin away.

Another doctor lead us into a waiting room.

When we sat down I broke into tears. I was holding up pretty well until now.

Sam sat next to me and the doctor stood I front of us.

"So can you two tell me how this happened?" The doctor said.

"Well, Devin asked me to come over to watch a movie or something just hang out or what ever and of course I came and when I walked in pur arch enemy was holding a gun to his head, she started to leave but we did something she didn't like and she shot him-" I said but started crying.

"Don't worry, he's in good hands." The doctor said walking away.

Abby ran up to me and hugged me. "I'm so sorry this happened." She said.

"What is wrong with her, why does she hates us so much." I said. "I don't know but we need to put an end to it." She said and we sat down.

We've all been in those stupid waiting room for hours finally a doctor came in and told us that Devin was gonna need surgery.

My heart dropped when he said surgery.

"S-surgery?" I asked. "Yes, the bullet is stuck in his shoulder, a couple minutes ago he passed out from blood lose so we are trying to get his blood leveled back out." He said.

"Ok." I nodded. He gave us a weak smile and walked away.

2 hours have passed and the doctor walked back in.

"Can we see him?" I asked. "You sure can, he's doing great, he's asleep right now but you can see him." He said.

"Ok." I said. We all followed the doctor to Devin's room.

He opened the door for us and we walked in.

I sat down in a chair next to his bed. I held his hand.

I griped my hand and smiled a little. I smiled.

"Hey there." I said. His eyes flickered and he was awake.

"Hi." He said. "You're awake." I said. "How are you feeling?" I asked.

"Eh, my shoulder hurts." He said. "Aw I'm sorry." I said. "No don't apologize it's not your fault." He said.

"I know, but I feel like I should." I said. He laughed.

The doctor walked in the room. "Good morning Mr.Hayes." He said.

"Can I leave yet?" Devin asked. "Um let me check some things then you may leave." The doctor said.

"Ok." Devin said.

About and hour or so later Devin was able to leave.

We all hung out at mine and Sam's house and just enjoyed being together.
