3rd POV~

"Al, why does it hurt so much?" Ed asked his younger brother Al.

"What do you mean, brother?"

"Nothing." That was the end of their small conversation.

Ed was referring to you. How your (e/c) shinned in any light. Your beautiful (h/l) (h/c) hair would flow behind you. Your sweet beautiful smile that drew him to fall deeply in love with you.

But none of those things were directed towards him. It was to Roy Mustang. Ed's heart ached every time he saw you flash a blindingly beautiful smile at Mustang instead of him.

(Y/n) would always talk to Mustang about some business that very few know about. As Ed was buisy being jealous, (y/n) and Mustang were having another one of those talks.

Your POV~

"Let's go over it again, (y/n)." Roy told me once again

"Ok sir. I really like you and I have for quite sometime. Will you go out with me?" I asked Roy, visualizing me speaking to Ed.

"Much better. Now all you have to do, is go tell him yourself." He said as he tried to motivate me. He wasn't that good at it though, really.

"Ok! I can do it! Thank you Uncle Roy!" I turn around and hugged him. Yup, my uncle is The Roy Mustang.

"Just go talk to him already." He playfully pushed me away as I giggled and jogged away to go find Edward.

°Mini Time Skip°

I searched around the whole building and couldn't fine Ed or Al. So I go back to Uncle Roy's office. My (e/c) eyes widden as they meet with golden eyes.

"Well I guess that's my que to leave. I'll leave you both to talk." Ed sounded... almost annoyed.

"Actually, Ed, I would like to speak to you. Alone."

Ed's POV~

My eyes widden as (y/n) says that. I was suprised because she was talking to and not Mustang.

"Sure." I say as I walk passed (y/n); she follows behing me. Leaving Al and Mustang in the office.

Mustang POV~

"What was that about? Do you know anything, Mustang? I thought (y/n) liked you or vise versa?" Al asked.

Me eyes widden. How could they think something like that!? (Y/n) is my neice!

"I don't know where you go that idea, but (y/n) is my neice." I said with an irk mark on my forehead.

"What...!?"

Ed's POV~

"So what did you want to talk about?" I honestly just wanted to get this over with.

Though, I see (y/n) look down and twiddle [A/n: I'm so old. I used twiddle. I need help] her thumbs and I see a red tint to her cheeks. She looksd so cute like that... Snap out of it Ed! (y/n) liked Mustang! But her red tinted cheeks bring out her sparkling (e/c) eyes.

(Y/n) takes a deep breath at talks. "I like you Ed. I have for a long time. I'll understand if you don't feel the same. I mean you have Winry a-"

I cut her of with a kiss. She's adorable when she babbles. Out of shock she didn't kiss back until a few second after. But something bothered me.

I pulled away. "Wait. Don't you like Mustang? You're always with him?"

"What? I hang out with him a lot because he's my uncle. He was the only one I knew here for so long." (Y/n) said looking down at the floor.

"Oooh! Wait! He's you're what!?"
