You were just your everyday adult. Just without the best social and love life. You were mostly in love with YouTubers. It might sound weird and a bit lonely, but you were actually pretty content for a while.

So you finally finish the day and go home and straight to your computer.

Well I wasn't expecting any emails but ok... You thought as you opened the email.

Hello (y/n),

I am AntiSepticEye. I have recently been assigned as your protector. And our contract cannot be easily released. Once the administration office feels that you're up to code to not have a protector, I leave.

I will arrive some time tomorrow.

Well that's gotta be a load of bull. 1) what would I need a protector for? And 2) what exactly is "up to code" to "not have a protector"?

Why do I always get weird emails?

You turn off your computer since it's 10 and you have work in the morning.

~Time Skipu~ (1st person)

I woke up to green and blue eyes staring and me as well as a big sharp toothed grin.

"What tha-"

"Ow"

"Fuck!"

I immediately flipped out my switch blade. I never thought I'd have to use it but I could never be too careful.

The figure rubs their head, "Damn you have a hard head. Doesn't yours hurt too? We both took quite the blow?"

I noticed his accent but pointed the blade at him and said "oh it hurts like hell. I'm just more concerned of the random stranger in my house!" My voice gradually getting louder as I spoke... Or yelled.

"So you didn't get the email I sent you?" He looked at me confused.

"So then I'm assuming you're AntiSepticEye. Well... I thought the email was a houx. And what... Exactly do I need protecting for?" I asked the biggest question on my mind, with the blade still out in the open.

'AntiSepticEye' stood up a took a small bow with a big smirk, "please, call me Anti. And I'm not sure about your question. The big men up front just give us the jobs and send us off."

"

Well thats reassuring," I sated rolling my eyes with clear sarcasm in my words.

Anti sat on the floor, "yea, I know it's not the best summary but it is what it is. The big guys say to do something and you gotta do it. So, what are we doing today?"

"We? There is no 'we'. There never was a 'we'. [A/n: who gets my reference?] I have to go to work at 10 today. So it's only 7 and you will be staying here." I said in the firmest tome I could manage. Because I was actually pretty scared that the evil side of one of my favorite YouTubers is actually real and is my "protector".

As I'm about to walk into my bathroom, Anti steps in front of me.

"Listen, I know that this situation isn't the best-"

"Is any situation?" I cut him off and he glares at me.

"Let me finish. It's not the best, but it's something we're gonna just have to deal with for the time being. I'll even sleep under your bed. I'll be your monster under your bed." He finished with a large grin, that actually looked, kind if cute.

I sighed "Ok ok fine. You can cone with me and sleep under the bed. But we might have to get you some contacts to hide... how... unique your eyes are."

He made a gesture like a teen would do after getting a compliment. "How sweet! You noticed! But that won't be necessary. Only you can see and hear me."

"Ok then. Let's get going. I have to pick up a few things before I get to work" I say picking up my car keys.

So the day was filled with Anti following and bothering me while I worked.

~Time Skip~

I'm changing clothes for bed and I hear something about near the front door.

"You say here. I'll go check it out," Anti ordered me.

"Oh yea. I'm going to let you deal with whatever is in my home. What if it's another human? Not much you can do." I stated and he growled at me. I sighed, "ok, both of us will go and have each other's backs."

He lead before I could so I just followed Anti.

"Dark! What the hell are yoi doing here, you crazy bastard," Anti got the intruder ("Dark") into a head lock.

"Damn it, Anti! Let me go! I just need a place to stay for a little bit!" The guy yelled and stuggled to be released.

"Um... Excuse me," both boys turned to me. "Mind explaining, Anti?" I continued.

"Well this is an old friend of mine. We go way back. His name is Dark. Dark, this is (y/n), my human I'm protecting."

"Since he's staying, he'll have to sleep in the living room" I stated and Anti, as well as Dark, looked at me with suprise and relief.

~Two Week Time Skip~

So... For the past 2 weeks Dark has been harassing me to stay away from Anti. I tried to talk back but he threatened to get violent. And I just want to prove I can take care of a situation on my own, so I never told Anti.

But one day...

"So when will you just leave him? It's not like he needs you, and you don't need him," Dark, once again, told me.

I looked him in the eye, "If just saying it were that easy, none of this would have happened."

Dark glared at me with so much fury I almost backed down, "You better watch yourself."

I stood taller, "Or what. You're filled with empty threats. And-" *SMACK*

I was stiff like a dear in headlights. I was just about to turn away but I was interrupted by Anti tackling and repeatedly punching Dark.

"Don't you dare touch her like that ever again!" Anti yells as he attacks Dark.

"Anti! Stop!" I pulled him off of Dark. "I provoked him! It's my fault"

Anti eventually got off of him and Dark just ran out the house, probably to let off some steam.

Anti hugged me and buried his head my shoulder, "I'm so sorry, (y/n). I'm a terrible protector."

I lifted his head, "hey, it's ok. You're actually a great protecter." I smiled.

He grinned, "Umm... Will you... Be my human?"

I blushed, "Of course. As long as you be my evil protector."
