¤Marry her ?!¤ ▪︎Amaira's Pov▪︎
"Nonno!" I yelled, sprinting toward my grandfather, who greeted me with a wide smile and open arms. I jumped into his embrace, and he actually lifted me off the ground, my legs swinging in the air as I giggled. He was so tall that I looked like a child in his arms.
"How's my little one?" he asked warmly as he set me down.
"As always, perfectly fine!" I replied with a grin, and he kissed my palms affectionately.
"Lovebug," a soft voice called, and I turned to see my grandmother standing there with a radiant smile.
"Nonna!" I ran to her and hugged her tightly, feeling that comforting warmth only she could give.
"I missed you so much." I mumbled, pouting slightly.
"We all missed you too." she chuckled, ruffling my hair as I pulled back.
"It seems our princess didn't miss us." came a playful voice. I turned to see my uncles, Leonardo and Alfredo, exchanging exaggeratedly sad looks.
"Drama queens." I laughed, and my aunts—Gemma and Giana—joined in, shaking their heads at their husbands.
"I missed you both too," I said, running to hug my uncles, who squeezed me tightly and kissed my forehead.
"Who did you miss more? Me or him?" Uncle Leo teased, pointing between himself and Uncle Alfo.
I glanced between the two, knowing their usual competition about who I loved more. But I had my escape plan ready.
"Auntt!" I cried dramatically, turning to my aunts, who instantly pulled me into their protective arms.
"Don't tease my marshmallow," Aunt Gem said with a mock glare at her husband.
"Looks like we should head back." came a teasing voice. I turned to see my sisters-in-law, Nevaeh and Nysa, the American twins married to my cousins Cassio and Piero.
"Aren't you going to hug us now?" Nysa pouted, while Nevaeh shook her head at her sister's dramatics.
"I missed you both, Ny and Ne." I said, pulling them into a tight hug. They were always so supportive and loving, treating me like a little sister.
