•I am here, Jaan!
▪︎Ashvik's Pov▪︎

Amaira, she is love for me—
she is my life, my jaan, my everything.

After all the years I spent believing that love wasn't for me,
that maybe I was too broken, too lost, too cold for something so pure...
She walked in and rewrote everything.
She taught me what love truly feels like.
What it means to have someone who sees your scars and kisses them anyway.
She became my calm, my chaos, my home.
My addiction.
My peace.

And now... we're married.

She and I—we—are no longer two.
We are one.

Amaira Ashvik.
Forever.

Amaira Ashvik Romano Rai Singhania.
Ashvik Amaira Romano Rai Singhania.

Even our names sound like a vow.

A love story written in chaos,
etched in forever.
And I'll protect it...
even if it costs me my life.

"Everything's ready, Vik." Vivek informed, peeking into the waiting room.

I nodded, sitting up straighter. It was morning here, and finally—a full day had passed.
Which meant... I could go back to my wifey.

My wifey...

"I'll be out in a minute. Then we leave." I replied.

Vivek smirked when he saw me pull out my phone. He knew exactly who I was calling.

"Okay, okay. I won't disturb you, my Vik baby." he teased in a singsong tone.

"Just get lost, man." I groaned, disgusted by his drama. He left with a chuckle.

I dialed her number—my jaan.

The call barely rang once before she picked up.

"How's my newly married husband doing?" she chirped.

I chuckled at her excitement. "Someone sounds happy."

"Yup! It feels so good to be back home. I didn't realize how much I missed everyone..." she paused, then added in a softer tone, "But I'm missing you even more."

A smile pulled at my lips, and I teased, "Wow. I'm honored I still exist in my wife's memory."

"You should be, Mr. Singhania." She giggled, and God, that sound... it settled something in my chest.

"Did you eat?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

"Hmm... Big Bro forced me to." she replied. At least her brothers were taking care of her. I kinda liked her Big Bro—Carlos Romano. He treated her like gold.

"My breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all currently in Italy. So no, I haven't eaten a thing," I said, with mock sadness.

"Oh my God, Shiv." She sighed. "Eat something! I swear, once you get here, you can have me all you want. In every way .

"Hmm. Tempting offer, Mrs. Singhania. By the way... I'm at the airport right now."

"Wait, what? You're flying here? Right now?" she gasped.

"Of course. It's been a whole day. You think I'd survive any longer without you?"

"You're crazy."
