-----------------------------------------------------------

Do you know how to kill a person by just glaring at them? I think I'm on my way to doing that right now.

After the just revealed news of me being the girlfriend of THE James Anderson, and my heroic escape of almost death due to choking, here I am in my house, with my mom and James glaring at me.

As if it was my fault for detonating like a cough bomb!! You dont pull off stupid random acts like that and accuse the victim for not coping up with the crap.

Now. My mom wants to know why I've been to the hospital and James wants to know why I dint 'play along'.

Ha ha. Me and my pitiful life. I look up to see them waiting, each for their own question, and sigh.

"Mom, please listen to me completely...." I tell her how I start my shopping, dash with James accidentally, end up in the Mall's Waiting Room or something, go out with him for a Coffee for his 'kindness', and choke on my drink.

Well, ofcourse I dont tell my Mom about the stupid enounter with my 'bestie' Brenda!

I finally take a chance and glance at James and voila! there it is! That stupid smirk on his face that makes me want to slap it. Ugh!!

I try to ignore him and concentrate on my Mom's reaction. What is she thinking? Let me tell you, my Mom was always that kind of person who shared even the tiniest and most insignificant things in her life with everyone. Like everyone.

Say something Mom... And wrap this up ASAP. God knows how much drama a girl like me could take per day.

Finally, she says with a straight face "Well that teaches me to let you go on your own to such a busy and 'potentially harmful' place like a mall." Yeah, that was sarcastic if you didn't notice. I was giving her an apologetic look, that soon turned into a glare right after her sentence.

"Mom, I know I'm clumsy and that I probably happen to have two left and two right feet, but I think I'm really old enough to be on my own. Really!" I say and blush out of embarrassment.

I burst into a fit of incoherent words, randomly spitting out a few incidents from my childhood, when I hear a throat clearing. Oh. So Jolly James got to see how wierd and crazy I am with my overly concerned Mom. Yayy!

"Ma'am, I uh guess I should be leaving. I dont want to cause any interference in your daughter's little outburst." he says, giving my Mom the best teen-grin she has likely ever seen.

Way to go buddy, way to go! I couldn't have been more pissed off at you right now?!?!

"Yeah Mom, I think he has some work anyways, so lets just thank him and let him be on it." I say, with a hope to avoid any interaction session between my Mom and James. Clearly he seems to enjoy me and my Mom's banter.

"Oh! Please dear, do wait till the lunch is done preparing. That would be the least I could do, to thank you, for taking Ms. Clumsy's care. And call me Jane." She practically starts swooning over him. Sheesh Mom. Daughter Alert?!

At this, James casts me a sideways glance, with a lopsided smile and I fervently shake my head no at him. He frowns and nods lightly then turns to my Mom. Thank God.

"Well, sure Jane. It would be my pleasure to have lunch with the two of you!" What. The. Hell.

First he anounces me as his girlfriend to Brenda which is enough to make me run for the hills and now he tries to get into my Mom's good books? What is he up to? And what have I got to do with it?

Whatever...The nerve of that Jerk! I ll make sure he regrets it. Let it not be said, Diana Hart never tried to get rid of Mr. Arrogant.

Just wait and watch James, wait and watch.
