Love you so much for taking time to read my story! Let me know what you think of it! Oh and I was really happy to discover that 'One Step Closer' got 100+ views!! Please keep reading : )

-----------------------------------------------------------

Since I've already promised the next 3 weeks of my life to James, I can't help but think over the different reasons why he 'needed' me to be his 'actual' girlfriend without pretending.

Would I be all that of the type he is generally used to being around? What if I mess up all this and he won't leave me alone or take revenge on me?

Hold on.. WHY AM I EVEN THINKING ABOUT THIS?

I was never one to overthink things and now clearly I am doing just that. If the upcoming episodes with 'Jamie Fallon' here are going to affect me just as much they did now, I dont think I'll be able to keep up with this.

Once I come out of my daze, that James so graciously left me in, I take a deep breath and turn around to head towards the dining table.

"No Mom, not now! Please give me some time. I'll explain everything to you eventually." I say as soon as I see my Mom with an eager expression as if she was got invited to the backstage of a 1D show.

"Oh! For God's sake Banana, tell me already. And I wouldn't mind hearing it from James...just so you know." she gives me a probing look. I ignore her and clear all the dishes and start to wash them. She rests her hip to the counter beside me and folds her hands, tilting her head.

"Would you just not be an adult for a moment and show some reaction anytime now? Please, you are starting to worry me." she says with a bored tone.

"I think 'blank' is an expression Mom. Try all you want, you are not gonna get any gossip from me." I shake my head laughing. She sighs and pointing a finger at me, replies, "Whatever you say Banana. Just know that I wont stop pestering until I hear all of it." And with that she leaves the kitchen and heads into the hall.

I clean the last plate and pat my hands dry on my pants. Feeling tired due to all the events that took place today, I shout to my Mom that I'll be in my room and head upstairs. Opening the door to my room, I walk to my bed and fall into it. I lay on my back and start staring at the ceiling. After the blank stare, slowly I drift into sleep.

The last thing that comes to my mind is James' smirk. Oh boy, someone save me from that idiot.

James' POV

I come out from Ana's house with... wait, 'Ana'? from when did I start calling her by that without my notice?... uh whatever... a smug expression for leaving her in a haze.

Why her? I don't know honestly. For my misery to end, and for me to get rid of that Brenda, I just had to make a quick decision in the mall. When I had to bare her for a whole week after I had a one night stand with her, I finally snapped in the mall and told her I had a new girlfriend. Obviously, Brenda wasn't ready to buy it, so when I accidentally bumped into Diana, I couldn't help but contemplate a plan to make sure Brenda left me alone.

Ofcourse, I basically forced Diana to be my girlfriend, but, I wasn't letting go an opportunity to get to know her either. Man! The first thing I noticed in her was her eyes. If you would've told me earlier that Brown was a hot colour, I would've pissed in my pants laughing. I got instantly drowned in them. And then her lips, while she mumbled something incoherrent in her unconscious condition. They looked like they were just there to be admired.

And damn me to hell if I thought she was just a pretty face! How could she not know how beautiful she is with that body of hers? The way she argued and tried to get rid of me, The James Anderson, whom any girl would kill to get noticed by, really caught me off guard.

I suddenly realise I'm smiling, while starting my car to head home. What a great day to remember! Hah, if my friends read my thought right now, they'd surely laugh their asses off. But truth be told, I can't wait to see their faces, when tomorrow I introduce her to them.

But I should be careful, not to get her emotionally attached to me in any way. Its obvious Diana never had a boyfriend, and by the looks of it, I don't think she can actually ever hate me. Yeah, yeah... I've seen the way she looked at me while I wasn't looking and the way she blushed at almost all the times I flirted with her.

A cell phone, ringing suddenly brings me back to reality. I sigh taking my phone out and answer, "Anderson speaking. What's up?"

"Dude, where the fuck are you? Why weren't you answering my calls? Were you at your Dad's or something? But you always tell me when you go. So spill what happened."

Ah shit! Collin must've been waiting for me to join him in Soccer practice! What do I tell him now? I take a moment and reply, "It's been a long day man. I'll explain everything tomorrow when we meet. Whatever happens tomorrow in lunch, promise me you won't make fun of me. And...yeah, I um.. would like you to meet someone tomorrow. Keep your 12 'o' clock. See ya tomorrow dude."

"Whoa. Interesting day huh? Cool, I promise. But you better stop ditching me at practice from next time! Catch you later." With that, he ends the call.

I place my phone back in my pocket and notice that I reached my house. I end up changing my clothes and jumping into bed. Somehow I start to think of her and slowly drift into sleep.

What am I gonna do about you Ms. Hart?
