"kaji's being weiiirrrdddd," you said, almost falling over the table you sat on as you tucked your phone back into your pocket.

enomoto side-eyed you. "why's he absent anyway? that guy's neverrr absent."

"for real," was what kusumi meant.

it was monday and back to classes after your one-day break after getting kidnapped. the furin second years arranged a study session or tutoring or something after classes because they had an english and science quiz the next day, but you just went there since you had nothing else to do for the afternoon. when you got there, enomoto had told you that kaji was absent during school this morning.

"he says i need to go to his house or something," you said, hopping off the table. "he's probably sick."

"oh. well, good luck, i guess," enomoto replied.

you sighed and popped a lollipop into your mouth. "kay, thanks. ba-bye."

your pondering was truncated when the door slammed open, revealing a kaji dressed in a loose white t-shirt and black shorts. his eyes looked kind of puffy and a red hue brushed his nose.

"wow, you look terrible..." you said, stepping inside and taking off your shoes.

you rolled your eyes before they landed onto the lollipop in his mouth. "aren't you sick? no eating candies." you took it and put it in your own mouth. "mine now."
