Late nigh cuddles

Jasmine's pov
After the game D'Angelo and I picked up pizza and went home. He really got thinking about everything. We walked inside and say in the living room.
"Jay are you mad at me?" He asked
"Nah I'm just thinking." I said
"Wanna talk?" He offered
"Nah but what about you? Tasha said she had to tell you something important." I brought up
"Yeah she told me she was leaving tomorrow with her family to New York for a couple weeks." He said
"So when are you going to stop playing games and ask her out." I sighed
"They same time you get a boyfriend." He said cleaning up
"Well never gonna happen." I said following him in the kitchen
I sat on the counter and he stood in between my legs and wrap his arms around my waist.
"Kelly."
"What about him?" I asked
"Give him a chance. He cares about you a lot Jay." He said
"I don't know." I sighed
"Just try it for me." He said looking at me in the eyes
I hate when he does that because I always give in. His big brown eyes are a gift and a curse.
"Fine." I sighed
"Thank you." He said kissing my forehead
We just stood like that in the kitchen for a whole. Until he placed his head on shoulder and he fell asleep with his head in my neck.
"D'Angelo. Baby wake up." I whispered shaking him gently
"What?" He asked tiredly
"Come on let's go to bed." I said walking him to the stairs
I left him there so I can turn the lights and stuff off. I went back and he was right where I left him. I wrapped my arms around his waist.
"Come on big guy help me out." I said 
I walked him to his room and tucked him in like the big baby he is.
"Goodnight." I said walking out
"Wait Jasmine can you lay with me for a while please?" He asked
"You know I can never turn down a cuddle." I smiled
I crawled in his bed and snuggled close.
"Thanks Tasha don't like to cuddle with me." He confessed
I just stayed quiet not wanting to probe.

The next day
I woke up next to my best friend and smiled. Last night what he said about Tasha bothered me even though it shouldn't. I crawl out of bed and started to make breakfast. I was making homemade waffles, bacon, eggs, with fruit on the side.
"Good morning." He said
"Morning." I said
"It smells good." He said sitting at the island
"Hope it taste good too." I placed his plate in front of him
I watch him take a bite and he let out a moan just like Tyus did when he ate my pizza.
"This is good." He said stuffing his face with some more
We sat and ate. When I got a call from Kelly.
"Hey Kels what's up?" I said
D'Angelo smirked
"Hey Jay I saw what happened and wanted to check on you." He said
"Aw you care." I said fake crying
"Of course I care girl. I care a lot bout you." He said. I can picture him licking his lips like he always do
"I care about you too." I said
"But what was you think ma when you said you lucky I ain't bust a cap on yo ass?" He laugh
"I was thinking he was lucky I ain't bust a cap on his ass." I laughed
"You something else you know that?" He said
"Yeah I know not many can handle all this." I said
"Well I know I can handle all that, but the real question is can you handle all of this?" He said real low and sexy
