I present to you my fanfic: The Time Traveler's Guide to Zootopia

Summary:

A human soldier from a doomed futuristic civilization traverses the very fabrics of space and time to flee humanity's imminent extinction, only to stumble upon Zootopia—a diverse world unlike any other. Namely, an antiquated society filled with sentient animals living in peace and harmony. As their newest visitor struggles to adapt to an exotic world, he doesn't belong in, only time will tell what consequences may come to pass...

Quick Facts:

The original title of this story was The Interdimensional Time Traveler's Guide to Zootopia. However, it proved too lengthy for search algorithms, which often removed the keyword "Zootopia" from search results. 

I hadn't seen Zootopia until 2020, four years after its release. Watching a few clips on YouTube and reading several "human-in-Zootopia" fanfics inspired me to write my own. 

This is my first and likely my only fanfic. While many talented Wattpad authors juggle multiple stories, I prefer to dedicate my focus to this one for now.

Work in Progress:

The story is still ongoing, with around 40 chapters posted. My goal is to finish with at least 50 chapters and no more than 70 chapters.

A Caveat for New Readers:

This story is a work in progress, including the chapters that have already been posted. My earlier chapters (1–30) were written during an 'experimental' phase of the fanfic and reflect my rough beginnings as a writer. They may feel a bit convoluted or unfocused compared to later chapters, and you might even come across minor plot holes or inconsistencies.

Starting with Chapter 34, you'll notice a more refined writing style as my skills and the storyline improve. By Chapter 37, my writing style arguably reaches its peak performance. While I plan to revisit and revise the earlier chapters in the future, I want to clarify that this polishing process will be done randomly as I see fit. For example, I may polish chapter 2 before chapters 1 and 3 if I feel inspired to do so. If you notice that one chapter has been updated while the ones before and after it haven't, this is intentional and reflects how I approach revisions based on what resonates with me at the time.

That said, I still strongly encourage you to read the earlier chapters. Despite their imperfections, they're essential to understanding the story and well worth your time. Your feedback is also welcome! If you feel that a specific chapter or section may benefit from an expedited revision, please don't hesitate to let me know.

For now, my primary focus remains on moving the story forward. However, those earlier chapters won't be forgotten—they'll be polished eventually.
