A/n pov:

"Mr. Jeon- as in Jeonghan uncle had been a great help throughout the past years. Even though everyone else had forbidden me to come close to jungkook at the first few years, Jeonghan uncle was the first one to approach me and tried to understand my perspective. I-" Taehyung continued saying about Jeonghan's help but was abruptly interrupted by Mrs Kim.

"Why i was not aware of anything that happened at my in-laws house? I was at the hospital too, when mother was admitted in hospital due to her bad health. Why no one told me about anything? And- I was fully unaware of Jungkook's existence before he came to Kim Corporation as Taehyung's personal secretary." Mrs Kim couldn't help but ask so many questions at once. Her curiosity perked up, putting her brain though both negetive and positive anticipation, while worst scenarios played in her head.

She had been at Seoul most of the time and she rarely visited her in-laws house. She hadn't spend much time with her beloved son either, being busy with housework and office work. She would pine for her son but keep it in her heart because she wanted her child to have a secure future, her husband to be successful in the field he is in, and in the way to success, she had, unfortunately, forgotten about her only son, who was barely able to stay away from his mother.

She knew, her in-laws were good people and would take care of her son well but is that enough? Would it be ever enough for a small child to grow up without their parents by their side? Every child would want to have their parents with them whenever they took any new step towards their future, do anything special or for the first time, but Mrs Kim had always mourned over the fac that she hadn't been in the most crucial phases of her son's life, when her son had needed someone to hold onto the most.

When Taehyung was in his most vulnerable state, at his breaking point. Everyone had turned their back to her son for his mistakes and he was left alone in the darkness to fight it off without any support or help, not caring if the darkness would engulf her son in its cruel embrace for forever or her son, Taehyung, would give up. She couldn't help but curse at her own self for not being there with her son and curse at his son at the same time for causing so much harm to such an innocent soul because of his confused state of mind.

She can never justify her son's actions. What he did to the innocent child back then, was unforgivable. No amount of explanation would be enough for the loss everyone had been through and she hates to admit it that most of it were her own fault.

Only if she had been more caution, more attentive and a little more capable enough, she would've kept her son with herself and he wouldn't have gotten closer to jungkook, nor any harm towards the small kid would've taken place.

"Did you forget that you were going through severe stress at that time? The loss in our business empire and my hopes crashing down had made you so weak and vulnerable at that time. You were so fragile. Taehyung was so so, so scared that he begged in front of me to keep everything from you. He didn't wanted you to look at him like you were disgusted by him, disappointed at him and ashamed to call him your son. He was terrified that you might say the same as others that- he- he is not the Right One for his bun." Mrs Kim's heart clenched at her husband's words. The words might be simple with no complicated verbs in it but the power they hold is immense. The pain her son must've been in-
