The glade {Completed}

Dashing through the maze

Minho got my pack from what he called, the 'map' room and we took off. I was jogging the whole time and I bet he was too. Right, left, right, straight. We went in all directions for about two hours, when we stopped. I thought he was catching his breath, so I stopped, but I was still jogging in place "take a break, shuck-face" he said and I did. I leaned against a wall, standing up straight "Minho, how long do we run" I asked him "until we fall over and die" he said and we both laughed. Then he handed me my water and I chugged it down. I tossed him the empty bottle and he put it in my pack. He walked up to me, handed me my pack, and stood there. I put my pack on and once I did, he put his on. I closed my eyes for a second, until I felt hands pin my wrists to the wall "Min-" I tried to say, but was cut off by a kiss. I tried to break free from his grip but I failed. Then he pulled away and unpinned me "MINHO" I yelled and slapped him. Then I started running without him "wait" he said as I turned right. I ignored him trying to find my way back to the glade.

It started getting super dark and I turned around. I didn't see Minho anywhere. What the hell?! Where did he go!! I finally get to a long corridor where I see it. I also see what looks like a million boys at the entrance. I started to fast walk towards them cause I was kind of tired. I stopped for a second when I heard rumbling and I plugged my ears. I also heard a screech and when I looked up I saw the walls, closing. Minho never mentioned that they moved!!! So I started to jog slowly to the glade when I heard another screech. I turned around and saw a big, slimy, mechanical creature running at me. I faced the glade and sprinted. The doors were feet away from fully closing,  and the creature almost got to me, when I slipped threw. I fell onto the hard ground and just laid there "where is Minho." Gally asked me "he came back I thought" I replied and they all shook their heads "why would you leave his side?" Asked Thomas "because he..." I trailed off, not wanting him to get punished "he was getting annoying" I finally said and they all stared at me "This is why we stopped letting people try out for runners" Gally told Alby and Alby shook his head "it's our fault so we can't punish her." He said and I got tired of eating dirt, so I sat up and leaned against the wall "There goes one of our best runners" another boy said "we don't know that fry" newt said "no one survives a night in the maze" the boy named fry said "enough" Alby said and he looked at me "what are you shuck faces looking at?" I heard Minho's voice and everyone turned around. That gave me a chance to run away. I heard footsteps behind me so I kept running. I ran into the deadheads, because I'm so smart, and I tripped over a root. I tumbled forwards and once I stopped, I saw newt running towards me "newt" I said and when he got to me, he squatted next to me and touched my head. I winced in pain and he looked at me with worry "what?" I said and sat up "nothing, why did you run" he asked me "newt, Minho, he pinned me to the wall and kissed me" I said and newt filled with anger "what's your name" he asked me "I still don't know" I said, lying. Then he sat down next to me, examining the side of my head. Then he looked down at my feet. I did the same and saw a huge cut with dirt surrounding it, gushing out blood "Bloody hell! That did not come from the fall!" He said and I looked at him. I failed to mention the part were I slipped in the maze "I uh," "did Minho do this to you?" "No!" "Y/n" he said and I looked at him with confusion "how the hell did you know my name!" I asked him "you whispered it before you got out of the pit" he said and I looked at my feet "y/n, are you lying to me?" He asked "no, I swear, I swear by earth and water" I said

Newts POV

"I swear it by earth and water" she said and it immediately repeated it over and over in my mind. I knew it from somewhere, I just don't know where "y/n, we need to get you to the medjacks" I told her and she started to stand up. She hopped about a few feet, when she started to fall. I caught her and she put one arm around my neck. I put my right arm around her waist, helping her keep balance. I have to admit it, I love her. She's only been here a few days but I love her. She's beautiful, sweet, amazing, funny, and honest "You alright?" I asked her and she nodded. I noticed that she was shivering, so I let go of her for a second. I look off my hoodie and handed it to her "here" I said "no, no, I can't, it's yours" she said and I looked at her. Then she finally took it and slipped it on. We walked the rest of the way to the medjacks and they took her. I was walking back into the deadheads when I heard loud blaring through the glade. The greenie alarm.
