Chapter 5

Be yourself

It is morning and you are in your bed, asleep. You're still wearing the clothes that you had on all day yesterday. You wake up soon, not wanting to get out of bed. You groan and reach over to your phone, which shows the date and time when you turn it on. "Fucking hell! 12:35 already? I should've set my alarm," you curse to yourself and get out of bed. "What am I doing today? Oh right. I'm going to the movies with Eridan," you think to yourself. You reach out for your phone, which is on you little table beside you bed. You check your texts. No new ones. You put your phone back and undress from your cloths. After throwing them in your hamper, you grab a towel and head to the bathroom to take a shower.

After your shower, you blow dry your _____ (H/L) hair and leave it down. You put a little bit of makeup; black mascara, black eyeliner, and a little bit of _____ (F/C) lipstick. After, you go back to your room to pick out an outfit. You grab a _____ (F/C) long sleeve shirt- which has 2 white stripes on the end of the sleeves, and some denim shorts. The shirt was a bit too big so you tucked it in your shorts. You finished of the outfit with a pair of _____ (F/C) converse sneakers and white socks. Looking at yourself in a full body mirror you have in your room, you shot yourself a double pistol and wink. "Looking good," you say, thinking out loud. You grab your _____ (F/C) purse and check your phone for the time. "Only 2:30. Looks like I got a good half hour left," you think to yourself. You decide to pass the time by texting Gamzee.

Nothing much. Just about to head to the movies.

You suddenly hear a car honking outside your house.

And with that, you put your phone in to your purse and take off. You jump into Eridan's brother's car. Cronus was his name. You know this since you used to date Eridan, and visited his home often.

You are the clown once again. You and your best friend, Karkat, are at the movie theater. You look around, trying to find ______ (Y/N). You finally spot her and wave. She grabs Eridans arm and drags him over to you and Karkat. "But, ______ (Y/N)! I wwant to see that neww RomCom!" he was yelling. "Hey, guys! What's up?" ______ (Y/N) asks, smiling her bright and beautiful smile. You blush slightly. Karkat notices your blush and pull you away from ______ (Y/N) and Eridan. "ONE SECOND, FUCKASSES. I NEED TO SPEAK WITH THIS PEICE OF SHIT FOR A MOMENT!" Karkat yells. "WhAT tHe MoThErFuCk Do YoU wAnT tO aSk Me?" you ask. "DON'T PLAY DUMB, ASSHOLE! I SAW YOU BLUSHING FOR ______ (Y/N)! YOU LIKE HER, DON'T YOU?" Karkat asks. "Do YoU rEaLlY eVeN hAvE tO aSk? WhO cAn ReSiSt SuCh An AmAzInG pErSoN?" you say. "OH MY GOD, GAMZEE. FUCKING KNEW IT!" he screams. You and him walk back to ______ (Y/N) and Eridan. They are arguing. "Eridan, we are going to see this new action movie. Period!" ______ (Y/N) yells. "ROMCOMS ARE BETTER, FUCKASSES!" Karkat screams, joining the argument. "I hAvE a MoThErFuCkInG mIrAcUlOuS iDeA gUyS! i'Ll SeE tHe AcTiOn MoViE, wItH ______ (Y/N) aNd KaRbRo AnD eRiDaN cAn SeE tHe RoMcOm!" you suggest. Karkat and you look at eachother. He takes the hint and sighs. "FINE, ASSHOLE. COME ON ERIDAN!" Karkat yells and drags Eridan away with him to the line for the new RomCom. "Thanks for taking him off my hands. You're a life saver, Gam," she hugs you. The hug lasts for a few seconds. "ThAnK kArBrO, nOt Me," you say. She giggles and soon you guys are next in line for the action movie. "Shit," _____ (Y/N) curses under her breath. You see she is struggling to find he money for her ticket so your just pay for hers. "You didn't have to do that, you know," she says. "I kNoW," you say and peck her on the lips. She just stands there in shock, blushing a deep red. "I'm GoInG tO gEt SoMe SnAcKs. Go GeT uS sOmE sEats," she smiles, nods, and heads off.

"I aM oN a MoThErFuCkInG rOlL tOdAy!" you think out loud and do a quick little happy dance. People start staring, but you don't care. You grab a large popcorn with extra butter, a large box of nachos covered in delicious melted cheese, and 2 tall sodas. You find _____ (Y/N) and sit next to her. "Holy shit, Makara! How much food did you buy?" she whisper yells. You just giggle and throw your arm around her. She looks at you, blushes, then quickly turn away towards the big movie screen since the movie was starting.

The end credits begin to roll. "ThAt WaS a MiRaCuLoUs MoViE, sIs," you say, holding her hand. You guys are both blushing and smiling like there's no tomorrow. "Yeah. That was awesome," she says. You and _____ (Y/N) walk out the theater and meet up with Karkat and Eridan. "OH MY GOD THAT MOVIE WAS AMAZING!" Karkat yells. "I KNOWW, RIGHT?!" Eridan joins Karkat's yelling party. "Never thought I would ever see you 2 gettting along," _____ (Y/N) smirks. "SHUT UP!" both of them say in unison, attracting a lot of stares. You and _____ (Y/N) laugh. "I'lL dRoP yOu OfF, _____ (Y/N)," you request. "Okay!" she responds. Before Eridan can protest, Karkat asks for a ride home. "Sure, Kar. WWell, bye guys!" Eridan says as he and Karkat leaves. You look at your phone to see a text from your brother. "KuRlOz JuSt TeXtEd Me. He Is HeRe. LeT's Go!" You say. You grab her hand again, walk out the theater, and head straight to the car with her.

You and _____ (Y/N) sit in the back, still holding hands, blushing and smiling. When Kurloz sees, he smiles and starts driving you and _____ (Y/N) home. You pass the time by talking and giggling. When you reach her home, you walk _____ (Y/N) to her front door step. "I had a great time, Gamzee," she says while blushing. You respond by pulling her in for a long, passionate kiss. After you pull away for air, you hug her tightly, both of you blushing and smiling. "Bye, GamGam!" _____ (Y/N) says and walks into her home, closing the door as you turn around and head back to Kurloz's car. You enter the car and see his is giving you a weird look. "WhAt?" you ask.
"Nothing," he uses sign language to say. He just sits there and smiles. You chuckle and start thinking about _____ (Y/N).
