{ POV: Blayke }

We all got up and ate breakfast quickly, ready to get out on the water. Once that was done, we packed coolers and the boat bags, ready to head down to the dock. Every time Ashton or the other boys come down here with us, they are the biggest helpers for my grandpa and I know he appreciates it.

Once we got down to the dock, Ashton helped my grandpa get the boat uncovered and fueled up while the rest of us and my grandma loaded the boat up with our coolers and bags. My grandparents have two boats and jet skis down here. We always start the day off on the pontoon then after lunch will switch to the other boat to do things like tubing, wake surfing, and wakeboarding. Then usually we end the night after dinner on the jet skis.

"I think we are ready to head out" my grandpa grinned, starting the boat up. We all took our normal spots - all of us "kids" up on the front of the boat and my grandma in the co-pilot seat, and of course my grandpa driving.

We have one spot we always go to and park at to hang out and swim and stuff. While we headed there, we got sunscreen on and got down to bathing suits, already soaking the sun up.

It was a nice day already. It wasn't too hot but it was perfect lake weather.

As we rode, Madison and I were just talking about girl things and soccer while the boys were talking to my grandpa about anything and everything. It makes me feel good that they love my grandparents like they do. My grandparents love them too and treat them as if they are theirs.

We got to our spot and Ashton put the anchor down. Once we were pretty secure, we all got up and moved around, getting towels out and ready and such. The boys wasted no time jumping in the water. You could probably hear them hooping and hollering across the lake. Madison and I took up residency on the back of the boat in the two little built in lounger chairs. That was a selling point for my grandparents when they bought this boat. The two other seats back here are captain chairs which my grandparents took a seat in,

"How's the soccer team looking so far this year?" my grandpa asked us, making me laugh. He loves coming to our games and hearing all about the team,

"So far pretty much everyone is out of shape besides me and Blayke" Madison spoke, "Good thing we've been running"

"Yeah and it's gonna be competitive this year so people need to get more serious about it" I groaned,

"Well hopefully they come around. You all have a good group and can probably go to the state championship" my grandma smiled,

"Thanks" I laughed.

Just as we started talking again, Calum jumped up on the boat with an evil grin. Next was Ashton jumping up with the same grin,

"Oh I know what's about to happen" my grandpa laughed. Suddenly, both Madison and I were scooped up, both letting out shrieks,

"Ashton" I warned. He just gave me a smile and a kiss then jumped. We hit the water and I gasped at how cold it was. When we resurfaced, I swam to where Ashton had landed, clinging to him,

"Rude" I laughed,

"You love me" he smirked. I rolled my eyes and kissed him quickly, pulling back when I heard Madison yelling at Calum,

"You're lucky you're my friend" she sassed then dunked him under water.

I let go of Ashton and swam towards to boat, my grandma handing me a few pool noodles for us to use instead of life jackets.

We swam around, talked, and goofed off for a while before we were getting hungry. As we climbed up on the boat one by one, my grandma would pass us a towel.
