Ter Hi Chah

Naina with gathered strength was walking towards Rajveer's quarters. She doesn't want to be alone with him but has to as can't run. It's what she has been trying for the last two days and kept telling herself not to forget what happened that evening.

A noise of knuckles on the door made Rajveer check the door. She gave him a file and he deliberately lingered the touch on her fingers. It went as a spark that took them two days ago.

A tap was heard by Rajveer and opened the door with a wish. The lips curled up to see that person, made space to let her in and closed the door. His mind was telling him that it's a start that she has come on her own and would give him a chance.

Naina stood in the middle of the room nervously and forwarded the phone. He raised the eyebrow and took steps to be near her with a thumping heart.

She exhaled a breath, unmuted the phone and put it on the table before pressing the speaker. Rajveer throat choked when heard his favourite cadets bickering

Alekh (in loud voice) : "Chup karo. Machi bazaar hain kya".

Huda : "Chup kar kaidi. Ek toh Phoolan hum ko call par bula kar khud bol nahi rahi".

Pooja : "Kaha gayi missed call".

Ali : "Aap log shaant rahiye. Unhone kaha hain na 2 min rukiye".

Yudi : "Mujhe ek naye gadget ko test karna hain. Guys, I am busy".

Naina saw his face which was showing happiness and fear. She knows that has to speak first as he won't.

Naina : "Tum logo ko kisi se milwana tha".

All started talking together and she signals Rajveer to say something but he shook head. Naina held his hand and he felt the support which was looking for.

Rajveer (in low voice) : "Cadets".

They became quiet in shock as may have heard that voice which they wanted to do but it's not possible. He understood their reaction, pressed her hand to get the confidence and said in a loud voice

Rajveer (loudly) : "Cadets, kaise ho tum sabh".

Alekh : "Rajveer Sir".

Huda : "Sir ji".

All called him in breaking voice to confirm as thought they were dreaming. There were loud noises that were filling the empty room like in his heart but still one is missing. He can hear the cry, excitement and disbelief that it can't be true. Rajveer held her hand tightly when she was about to speak. Naina sighed as can understand his emotions which were mixed with content and anxiousness.

She saw him smiling with tears like has got a family back and thanking her for that. Rajveer gulped down the lump when she moved head from left to right. He can't believe all of his favourite people are here and only one is missing. Their eyes moved at the phone when they heard Yudi complain

Yudi : "Naina, tum ko pata tha ki Sir...I mean he was with you but didn't inform anyone".

Pooja : "Kabh se woh teri roaming mae hain".

Ali : "Naina, aapne humko kyu nahi bataya".

Huda : "Ye tune thik nahi kiya Phoolan. Sir mil gaye toh hum kon hain".

Pooja : "Silent mode par kyu hain abh".

Alekh : "Tum log usko bolne doge toh woh bolegi na".

They chuckled softly and Naina told them how she met Rajveer a few days ago.

Rajveer : "Ye mera faisla tha tum sabh ko ek saath batana".

He lied to save her as she may have told them earlier, maybe didn't do it because of what happened last week. After repeating the story again and again, they now believed him that he is completely fine. His cadets started making plans to take leaves to see him as expected. How they can stay there when their teacher and friend who was dead for all is alive. Rajveer shouted to keep them quiet as they were talking with each other and not listening to him.
