Chapter Sixteen
I choose to text my boyfriend about it, I think he would love my idea. It’s a lot like our love story, no, it is our love story. We have nothing to lose anymore, so why not write a book about it. I can’t wait to get started on this book; I think it might be my best one yet.
I need to think of a way they meet, I know how me and Ambrose met. It was the first day of school, we were in kindergarten. I wasn’t ready to go, I didn’t want to leave my mom’s side, but I had to. I had to sit next to him, he made me feel welcome and happy. Ever since that day, we haven’t missed a single birthday.
Maybe they should meet on the first day of school, she’s the new kid and doesn’t know where to sit at lunch. She knew where to sit in class because the teacher told her, she wasn’t sat next to him. She was in the front, the seat closet to the teacher. But at lunch, she didn’t know where to go, so, he invites her to eat with him and his friends.
That’s a good start, I can’t wait to get started, but I have to tell Ambrose first. I was thinking of calling him, but I thought a text would do good. I just want to get started on this story, so I sent him a small text about the book and got started.

It was my first day of school, I didn’t really want to go. I would have to leave my mother side; I don’t want to do that. My mom told me that kindergarten is fun, I kept disagreeing with her. I can’t believe she’s making me go, I don’t really need to go, do I?
“Do I have to go mama?” I asked following my mom to her car, “I really don’t want to go.” I sighed getting in the back seat and letting my mom fix my seat.
“Yes, I have to go to work, and you don’t have a babysitter.” My mom shut the door and made her way around the car and to the drivers seat, “You’ll make some friends, it won’t be so bad.” She got in and started the car.
“I wouldn’t be so sure about that.” I huffed, “Many people say you can’t make friends on the first day.” I turned away from her and waited for the car to move.
“Some people do.” My mom smiled as she started to drive, “Maybe you’ll find someone worthy enough to be your friend.” My mom laughed driving to my new school, “At leas you’re not the only new one there.”
“I guess so, but I still don’t want to go.” I scoffed crossing my arms, “I heard bad things about school, I think I should just stay home.” My mom just laughed and took me to school. She walked me into the classroom. I didn’t want to leave her side; I didn’t want to be here.
That is until I made eye contact with the guy I was supposed to sit by. Once I knew where I was sitting, I let go of my mom and sat down. Maybe she was right, I might make a friend today. Maybe that friend will be the guy sitting next to me.
We have learned a lot today, but the only thing I learned was that the guy next to me is my new friend. He asked me to eat lunch with him and I did, we had so much fun. I think me and him will be friends forever.
I went home after school and told my mom everything about my new friend. She told me that she knew this would happen. Little kids are just so good at making new friends, they’re more out there.

It was her first day of school. She wasn’t sure what to think, she hasn’t moved before, she isn’t sure how to feel about it. She just wants to go back to her old school, that’s all she wanted to do, go where her friends are.
She walks into her new class unsure where to go. She just looked around once she set foot into the classroom. She sighed as she walked in, she wasn’t sure where to sit, so she walked up to the teacher and softly asked.
The teacher just pointed at one of the empty seats in the front and the girl went to one. She sat down and waited for the class to start. She just wanted to go home, even that home isn’t hers, not yet at least. She just doesn’t feel at home.
She just want’s to go into her room and hide. Her new room that’s nothing like her old one. Her old one was hung out in, had sleepovers every weekend in. This new room had other people’s sleepover’s, not hers, not yet at least.
She just needs to get through her school day, that’s all she has to do. Then she could go home and hide out in her room. That’s all she wants to do, hide out in her new room and never leave. But she will need to leave, sooner or later.
Once she went to all of her classes she had to go to lunch. She wasn’t sure where to sit, she didn’t want to sit next people that already have people they sit with. But she also didn’t want to sit fully alone. But there wasn’t a table that was empty or even close to being empty
She sighed and went to leave; she was just going to eat outside. That’s the best place for her to eat, might as well just go and eat alone in the world and not the school. That’s where she belongs anyway, no one wants the new girl sitting by them.
She was about to leave the lunch room when a guy called out to her. It was a guy she had in a few classes. She wasn’t sure why he was calling her over, but she went up to him. She smiled when he let her sit next to him. Maybe this day isn’t as bad as she thought it was.

After I read over the first part over and over again. I choose to send it to my boyfriend. I want to know what he thinks. He loves to read over my books, he always did. I don’t know why he would want to read them over and over again. I thought he would get bored of it by now.
He told me it was good, but I could add more about what they look like and the world around them. I know I need to do that, but that will just have to wait. But then he gave me another good idea. I should give off sneak peaks to my readers.
I should make them pay money for sneak peaks. That’s a good idea but I’m not too sure I want to do that. Why make them pay for it when they could just buy it when I have it done. But I guess everyone wants a sneak peak every once in a while.
