Chapter Three

"Let's just hope that she doesn't want to go to another bar." Archie spoke as he walked up to his roommate, "And if she does, you're not drinking. We can't have another accident like last time."

"What makes you think I'll do it again?" Ambrose asked as he looked at the shorter guy, "What if I'm over her huh? What if I like another girl now? What if I found out I'm gay?"

"You're not over her. We all know that." Archie spoke looking up at his roommate, "There is no other girl, you barely leave the house. Gay? For whom?"

"You." Ambrose spoke with a smile, "Who else would I be gay for?"

"I don't know, The Rock?" Archie spoke as he raised an eyebrow, "We all know you'd rather kiss the floor after it's flooded than be gay for me."

"Who knows, maybe I changed my mind." Ambrose shrugged.

"No, even if you were gay. You wouldn't be gay for me."

"And how do you know that?"

"I'm too much like you, you'd be crushing on yourself by then."

"Yeah, maybe I'm not over her."

I got up once my alarm went off. I had to hurry and get ready. I have something planned for my birthday. I just have to get to my friends house in time for them to get ready. Can't be late, I hope they want to come. If they don't then I'll have to find two people to go with me or waste the tickets I have.

I walked to my dresser where my outfit was already waiting for me. I picked it out yesterday. I put on the fish nets and black short shorts. I then put on the cropped long sleeved shirt. The shirt was gray with black stripes going across.

I then put on some socks and grabbed my boots. The boots where tall and black. They also had chains hanging off the sides. Once I was sure I was ready. I grabbed my keys and left. Soon I made it to their house. I knocked on the door and waited.

Soon Ambrose opened the door with a smile, "Come in." He spoke as he moved to the side and I walked in, "So, what do you want to do today? Go to another bar?"

"No." I spoke as I turned to him, "I was wondering if you two would like to go to this concert with me. I already bought the tickets. If not, I could find someone else to go."

"Well go, we love concerts." Archie spoke as he walked up to me, "When should we leave?"

"Soon, if we want to make it there on time and to get something to eat on the way." I smiled as Archie nodded.

"I'm going to change." Archie spoke as he walked off with Ambrose following. I sat down on the couch and waited for the two boys to get done. Once they were done, I walked out to my car. I got in the driver's seat and started the car. Ambrose in the back behind the passenger seat. Archie was in the passenger seat.

We stopped and got something to eat. After we were done eating, we drove to the place. I found a parking space and then we walked to the line. It was a lengthy line. We're going to be here for a while. Why is the line so long?

I stood in line with Archie and Ambrose. The wait was going to be awhile. It was also going to be awhile before the line even moves. I'm starting to think this wasn't such a clever idea. I hate standing in long lines in the sun. I don't even know why I thought this was a clever idea.

"Hey, I just wanted to say your hair is so pretty." The guy behind me spoke as he pointed at my purple hair. I dyed it a few weeks ago. I love the color and thought it would be nice to have something other than my birth given brown hair for a while.

"Thank you." I spoke as I turned to the man. I always liked it when someone said something about my hair. I always loved my hair. It's just a big part of me. I love it so much. Maybe even more than my eyes. My eyes are a dark blue color. I liked how most of the people I meet with brown hair have brown eyes as well. But I got blue eyes. I love that part of me.

"I just wanted to say, you're very pretty." The guy spoke once more, "I was wondering if I could get your number?" The guy asked as I looked at him. I wasn't sure what to say. I know I shouldn't, but I don't want to be rude.

"No but thank you anyway." I smiled as I turned away from the man and looked at my two friends. Archie was looking ahead waiting for the line to move. Ambrose was glaring at the man behind us. I don't know why. He was just being nice.

"Are you sure?" The man asked as I turned to him once again, "I'm sure we could get drinks one day?" This guy just doesn't know how to take a hint. Does he? I was about to say something when Ambrose spoke up.

"She said no." Ambrose spoke as he looked at the man, "She's not interested." Ambrose spoke as he glared at the man. I could have said that. But in a nicer way. Why is Ambrose so mad about this anyway? It's not like he's, my boyfriend.

"I'm sorry about him." I spoke as I looked at the man once more, "Sorry, but I'm not really looking for anyone to have drinks with. I have my two friends here and I just want to hang out with them today. I'm sorry, but maybe that girl behind you would love to get your number. She hasn't taken her eyes off you since she got in line." I spoke as I pointed at a girl with long light pink hair and deep blue eyes. I smiled when the man turned to her with a smile.

Soon the line started to move, and we were able to get in. We found a place in the far back of the room we were sent too. It's a spacious room. The people going on stage are popular and a lot of people came. So, a spacious room is needed. We didn't want to be in the front because of how cramped it is. So, we found a place in the back and waited for the concert to start.

Soon the first band went up. There are two opening bands then there's the band everyone is there to see. The person upstage was a girl. She had on a cute outfit. It was black and yellow. She had a small jacket on. I smiled as I listened to her introducing herself. I smiled and typed her name in my notes so I would be able to find her music later. I put my phone away and looked up at the girl.

I smiled once she started to sing. She was really good. She has a voice like buttermilk. I can't believe I get to be here and listen to her. I love her voice. I wish my voice sounded like hers. Don't get me wrong. My voice is as sweet as honey. But her voice is so much better.

Soon she was done. The next person that went up was a guy. He was tall and was wearing a suit. Why would you want to wear a suit to a concert? I don't know, but I guess he want's to do what he want's to do.

He started to sing. He was good, but I don't really like his music. It's not that he sounds bad, or the music is bad. It's just, not my style. Also, he still gets me on the suit part. Why wear a suit? Isn't it hot? I have no idea how he's still alive up there. I would be sweating and as red as a tomato.

Soon he was done, and the main part of the show started. I didn't see much because of the crowd, but I was able to hear a bunch. They had really good songs. I'm glad I choose to come here. After you get past the long lines, people, and the heat. It's nice.

As I was watching the stage a girl with pink hair walked up to me. The guy she was with walking past me. I looked at her with a smile. I told the guy about her and now they're hanging out. I think? I don't know. I'm not with them. I'm with my friends.

"Thank you." The girl spoke as she looked at the guy, "Really."

"You're welcome." I spoke as the girl smiled and left. I was now standing by my friends watching the concert.

Soon we were driving home. We did buy some stuff though. I got a pin with the bands name and a hat that has their new song on it. Ambrose also got a pin and socks. I don't know why he got the socks. I don't see him as a person who buys band socks. Archie also got the pin, but he got a jacket with the bands name on it.

I dropped my two friends off after we ate something. Once I made sure they were inside I drove home. I soon made it home. I put my stuff up and changed. I then got in my bed and waited for sleep to over take me.
