Frank POV:
They didn't open until 9pm. I internally groaned. Why can't time go by faster? Fuck waiting. I'm going to go to the mall. I'm broke as hell, but I'm just going to pass te time. I went back into my room and grabbed my sweater. It might bebeginning to get warmer, but I don't care. I stepped outside to find out that it was a bit cloudy. That's great if you ask me. Now the sun can't molest me with its radiation rays.
I have a friend named Ray. He's an adorable ray of sunshine. Yeah, my gay is showing. Leave me alone.
Outside the mall, some boys were smoking menthols and inside the first store, some girls were getting back rubs. They were naked, with nothing but a towel covering their butts and their breasts pressed against the bed thingy. One of the girls looked at me and bit her lip. I shivered.
Good thing I don't swing that way.
I kept walking and ended up heading inside the art shop. I can't draw or do any type of art except the art of music, I think. I strolled up and down the aisles and accidentally bumped into someone.
"I'm sorry," I said. The figure just looked down at me and scowled.
The man looked young. Maybe 22 or something. His dirty blonde hair was a bit ruffled and his hazel-ish brown eyes showed signs of annoyance. Hmph. I said I was sorry! The man snatched some sketching pencils and a sketch book and scurried away. Huh, wierd guy. But I'll have to admit. He was kind of cute. As he exitedd the store, my first thought was, I should follow him. So I did.
I ran out of the shop and saw him jog onto the parking lot and begin towards the..woods? Why in the woods, for Pete's sake?
"H-Hey! I wouldn't go in thereif I were you! Strange things happen in there!" I called after the guy.
He stopped at the edge of the trees and turned to face me. He gave me a little smirk and in the blink of an eye, disappeared into the woods. I hope he will be okay. I sighed and walked back home.
My mother wasn't home yet and it was already getting late. It was 8:12 already. She's probably out partying with her so called friends. I chose to get ready.
I put on my Black Flag shirt and a denim hoodie over it. I shimmied into some black skinnies and retouched my eyeliner. If I look in the mirror, I wont like what Ill see. But I know Im fabulous. Everyone is in their own way. The clock read 9:10 and my heart stopped for a split second. This is it.
I headed on out and walked towards the club. As I got closer, I spotted two guards next to the entrance. They both looked Mexican. One was taller than the other. The tall guy had a lip ring in the middle of his bottom lip, while the other guy had a piercing under the left side of his left eye and a small skinny braid on his right shoulder. Both were saturated with tattoos and I felt a little jealous. I attempted to walk pass them, but giraffe guy stopped me.
"Hey kid, get out of here. You're too young to even be here," he spoke out.
"Excuse you sir, I'm exactly 21 years old!" I snapped at him and pulled out my fake I.D. card. The other guy took it in his hands and studied it. He nodded and handed back.
"Oh, sorry man. You're just so short and young looking!" giraffe said.
"Yeah no kidding,"I murmured," what are your names?"
"Well, we aren't allowed to give our names to strangers, but you seem cool. Im Mike and this is my friend Tony," Mike said.
"Im Frank,Frank Iero," I know last names werent necessary, but mine sounded rad," Ill see you guys later!"
Inside was still kind of empty. That was weird. Usually, right when it opens, people start to flow in like water. I shrugged it off and walked into a hallway. At the end, there was a door that had a manager sign. I knocked and heard a faint 'come in'. I opened the door to reveal a short, with tattoos on his arms. His eyeliner was on point, Ill give you that.
"Hi, Im Frank Iero and I heard you needed a bar tender?" I asked. He raised his eyebrow quizically.
"Nice to meet you. The name's Pete Wentz. Aren't you a bit too young? How old are you? Like 15?" he chuckled.
"Um, no," I scoffed. Should I tell him my real age? Screw it," I'm actaully 19.."
He didn't look affected. He smiled. "Hm, okay. Ill give you the job. You seem like the type of person to work here."
What was that supposed to mean?
"Oh, and one more thing. Today will be your first day, but you came on a weird night," he said a little lower.
I furrowed my eyebrows together," and what night would that be?"
He took in a deep breath and looked at me right in the eyes.
"It's Vampire's night."
