"Well I think Ms. Y/L/N and her colleagues has given us a great plan to boost the company, I say we follow it and hopefully within the next coming months we'll see a increase. With that I think it concludes our meeting!"
Our boss ended the meeting as we stood and shook hands with other high level board members. Looking at my co-workers who are also friends I could see the excitement on their faces. For the meantime we kept it professional until the 3 of us exited the office. Once we were to ourselves we squeal and high five each other, our way of saying congratulations. Amber, Normani, and myself worked together tirelessly drafting up plans before we finally agreed on the best one.
Along with the approval of it came a hefty bonus and we all needed that. "We should definitely go out to celebrate!" Normani the youngest of us suggested.
"Absolutely not, the last time I went out with you I was hungover for two days. I'm not fucking with you this time" I told. Normani was a true party animal, back when I were her age I was as well. But now I can't keep up like I used too.
"Come on auntie we have to celebrate in some way" I thumped her on her forehead for making fun of my age. I'm only 35 compared to her 27.
"How about red lobster? It got good food good drinks?" Amber offered cutting into our daily banter
"Now that sounds more like my speed" I agreed becoming hungry just at the mention of the restaurant.
"Sounds good to me" Normani agreed
"Alright we could go change and meet up there"
"Ok" we all agreed before clocking out and leaving to change from our work clothes.
About an hour and half later the three of us meet up in the red lobster parking lot, walking inside the hostess escorted us to a booth for three. We got settled in our seats as we waited for a waiter/waitress to come. We talked among ourselves laughing and joking until the waitress came, I didn't look up completely but I knew that voice and it didn't belong to anyone but Onika Maraj.

Damnit I couldn't stand that girl, she's annoying ass fuck and has the worst attitude. And for some reason she couldn't stand me as well. She also works in the office with us but well below us, our paths didn't cross often but when they did it wasn't pleasant. When she saw me she rolled her eyes before placing down three menus.
"Welcome to Red Lobster my name is Onika I will be your server today, our special today...... can I start you off with drinks?"
"Can we have 3 frozen strawberry lobsterita, 6 shots of tequila, ...(food orders), and I think that will be all."
She jotted everything down before taking away our menus "ok I'll have that right out and I'll bring out the biscuits" she was nice to Mani and Amber but managed to give me a nasty look before leaving. In return I turned up my nose rolling my eyes.
