I see him standing there, his long brunette hair; his lips. I just know that he's something special.

"Robin!" A loud digital voice snaps me out of my funk. It's Kyle. I forgot I was on the phone with him.

"Sorry, man. I think I see him now. I see what you mean by the lips." I chuckle.

"Alright. Don't forget about the recording later on; Eight o'clock sharp!"

"Yeah, yeah" I sigh and hang up the phone, feeling dazed and confused.

As I walk up to Garrick, I can smell his cologne. It's intoxicating to say the least, I could get used to this.

"Robin?" He asks.

"Yup. Garrick?" I reply

"You got it." He says before helping me with my bags. It was impossible to miss that heart-warming grin he gave.

The car ride to his house was filled with laughs. Just like the skype calls. It's so much nicer in person, I have to admit.

I hear my favorite song on the radio and move my hand to turn up the volume. But Garrick had the same idea. Our hands brushed eachother. It felt electric. I got instant butterflies and I felt my blond hair stand on end. I tried desperately to hide my instant blushing. I pretend it didn't happen and looked out the window, hoping Garrick couldn't see my rosey cheeks in the afternoon sunlight.

"Colorado is so beautiful." Almost as beautiful as you. I end my sentence before I say the wrong thing.

After all, he probably doesn't roll that way. I think with a sinking feeling in my stomach.

"It's even better during sunset when you can see the silouette of the mountains on the horizon. We can do that tonight if you want. It'll be a good welcome into the state. I know a good spot to see it." He says.

God, every word sounds angelic.

"That sounds awesome." I say, trying to cover up my blushing again. Damn my cheeks.

We finally arive at his house and he carries my bag while I roll my suitcase through the doorway.

"You'll be in the basement. I have your desk and bed down there already." He informs me.

I feel an ice cold lump in my stomach, as heavy as a bowling ball. Could my room be any farther from his?!

After getting settled in, I look at the clock: 7:00.

I go upstairs and grab a snack from the fridge. I hear Garrick coming down the stairs.

Here we go again. My cheeks feel firey. How does he have this power over me?

"Hey, Robin." He greets. He's wearing some warm clothes for being inside the house.

"A bit overdressed, don't you think?" I reply smoothly.

"I thought we were going to see the sunset..." He recalled.

Is there hurt in his voice?

"Oh, when is sunset?" I ask in a frantic hurry, wanting desprately to have that romantic setting with him.

He checks his watch.

"If we hurry, we can make it in 15 minutes." He tells me, hope filling his tone, slightly, but just enough for me to hear it.

"Let's go!" I say, taking him by the hand (BUTTERFLIES) while pulling him out the door. TIME TO MAKE MY MOVE!
