I could stay here with him forever.
As the sky darkens to night, my stomach slowly starts to sink with sadness.
"We should probably head back now." Garrick says, in my arms.
"I guess we should, huh?" I reply, trying my hardest to hide my disapointment.
"Don't worry, we can continue when we get home." He offers with a smirk.
"I like the sound of that." I say, smirking back.
We get back to the house after what seems like an eternity. We held hands in the car.
We walk through the door and head straight for the couch in the living room.
I, being a bit bigger than Garrick, lie down on the couch to be the bigger spoon. Once I get comfortable, I invite him to lie in my arms.
He's so warm.
I breathe in his scent and squeeze my arms around him affectionately. I don't want to fall asleep, I want to just stay like this, not having to worry about anything.
I start to drift off into sleep when one last thought crossed my mind.
I was supposed to record with Kyle... He can wait until tomorrow. This is more important right now... Garrick is more important right now.
I fall asleep with my fingers in Garrick's hair. Nothing could compare to the feeling of him in my arms and hearing his steady breath. My breath occaisonally stirring his hair.
