"Entry log zero-nine-eight, type: Felis catus. Classification: Memory manipulation, and aging manipulation." A scientist jotted.

The scientists were experimenting on a cat that was injected by some-sort of aqueous solution. The fluid injected had some sort of prowess involved, for it gave the subjects supernatural abilities unknown to mankind.

"If this works for the cat, then we're ready to test these for human subjects." another scientist said.

"Uh-huh. Is the subject ready for alteration?"

"Yep."

The kitten was still small, but they injected a memory-manipulating and an anti-aging ability which slows down her perception of age. As the scientists injected the syrup, the kitten meowed in response. This was the first time Whiskers voiced out.

"Estimated time of alteration: two minutes."

"I hope this won't be as brutal as the last subjects."

"I wish so."

Out of ninety-seven animal subjects, only eight have survived, but they were immediately terminated as their powers were a possible threat to humanity. All of them had unique abilities, extraordinary abilities that no-other animals had.

The scientists left the room and went to a safer distance where they can observe the cat safely. The cat's eyes were glowing for a minute, and then...

Her heart stopped according to the monitor. She dropped from her upright position unto a supine position.

"Huh, I thought we were right this time, doc." The scientist said

"I guess not." the other one replied.

And then, for a second of silence, her hand moved; then her entire body stood. This time something was different, her eyes were glowing bronze brown followed by a meow and then a step.

The very first steps of Whiskers.

...

Ten months later, twenty two children were born. These children possessed extraordinary gifts; gifts that were controlled by human beings. All twenty three abilities, including Whiskers' were used by the scientists to do work over humanity.

Many of these abilities were miraculous events and can cause danger to mankind, and so they were numbered from 001 through 023 with 001 being the strongest, and 023 being the weakest. With this, the special powers were characterized by their abilities; super strength, super speed, healing potentials, and electrical conductivity. These and many more characterizations were categorized by these scientists. Lastly, they were split into three categories: calm, rain, and storm. With calm being safe to roam the facility and with storm being locked away and washed away from their rights due to their sheer strength.

Among the children were 002, 004, and 006, also known as the electric portal, the healing Gemini, and the impenetrable barrier. As they grew older and older, they were later classified by their names, their names that would change the course of history. With Todd Vermonte being the strongest, followed by George Vermonte, and Allison Raven, hence Todd was categorized with storm and the rest being rain.

These were the things that were done by the scientists, in order to test the limits of the solution, they needed human subjects, and so they tried it on humans. All that was left now was History, history that would change the course of humanity.
