Elsa's voice rang out, cutting through the air like a bell.
For a moment, everything froze.
Then-
"ELSA!"
Nami launched herself at Elsa, tackling her in a bear hug that sent them both crashing-right on top of Slug. The deer took one look at the chaos and bolted into the forest for some reason, but Nami had no time to spare it a single thought.
"You're back! I missed you so much! You idiot, why did it take so long?!"
Before Elsa could respond, the rest of the class piled on, their enthusiasm turning into a suffocating group hug. Whether they knew Elsa personally or not didn't matter, it felt like a collective victory to them.
"Listen-I'm getting crushed here!" Slug's muffled voice came from beneath the heap, but no one paid him any mind.
Then, amid the noise, Elsa's gaze locked onto a figure standing just beyond the crowd.
Kira.
Everything around her faded. The cheers, the weight of bodies pressing on her-none of it registered anymore. Her breath hitched, her muscles tensed. His face, his presence-it was familiar, yet foreign, like a dream just out of reach.
"You..." The words escaped before she could stop them. "I've seen you before."
Silence fell as all eyes turned to Kira. He blinked, momentarily surprised, before regaining his composure with a polite smile.
"Yes, we've met before," he said gently. "At a time and place that... wasn't exactly ideal for introductions."
Elsa's mind flickered with fragmented images-rain, the echo of a desperate voice.
