As Slug and Elsa clashed with their foes, Slug asks a question.
"Hey, Is Nami fine? She looks In... Pain? I don't know, Has anyone used this ring before?"
His question was met with a slight silence, Followed by a vivid answer.
"I couldn't learn alot about its history-" Elsa starts when Slug cuts in.
"Hey, Didn't that guy say you visited that library often?" Slug raised an eyebrow, He could remember overhearing their conversation in his 'sleep'.
Elsa pauses briefly. Then clears her throat "I used to visit only for the free sweets."
Slug deadpanned. Like the hardest one she might have seen in her life.
"But hey-I know is that a Witch had created this gem more than a 1000 years, But after she was slain, The White miracle used its powers to defeat the black Emperor misusing the black crown's powers" She offered.

"It's said that the Witch was too strong to be slain and was killed by deceit- A tool humans often use to get what they want."
Elsa shrugged. Just why couldn't people try to understand others? But then again, She had attacked Namiko without letting her explain, She is no better than them.
"I can only imagine her Fury. I wonder what the witch felt like at that time." Elsa whispered.
#scene shift
Nami found her in the heart of the palace-a lone figure bound to a bed, a massive sword driven through her chest like an executioner's final stroke.
"Who are you?" Nami demanded.
The woman's breath was ragged, her eyes dull with agony. "Please... help me..."
Hesitation flickered in Nami's mind, but pity won.
"Hold on, I'll get you out of this!"
She gripped the sword's hilt and pulled.
The woman tensed, a pained moan escaping her lips. Nami's arms burned, but she braced herself. "Almost there... just a little more-!"
With one final yank, the blade came free. Nami stumbled back, landing hard.
She exhaled sharply, rubbing her sore back. "That was harder than-"
She froze.
The bed was empty.
A chilling laugh curled through the air like a phantom's whisper.
