Nautica
I woke up with this bad ass hangover. It would be the day that had to be around kids.
I showered and threw on a sundress. I walked out to the back and all three of them were whimpering.
"Awe, I know. I'm sorry." They looked at me with sad eyes.
I went to the fridge, grabbed the package of steaks.
"Killer." I said as I threw the meat his way and he caught it.
"Delta." She did the same as Killer and so did Phyla.
I took out the trash before finally, going to the trap. I pulled up and was happy to see that they were setting things up.
"You guys make me proud." I smiled. They replied with multiple 'yeah yeahs' and 'sures'. I groaned as I walked inside to the florescent lights.
"Ha ha." Trent laughed as he walked in.
"Shut up." I grabbed a water before going to help them set up. A few minutes later the neighbor momma, Y'all know that one lady in yall neighborhood that everybody call momma, walked up.
"It's about time some of these young whipper snappers around here do something."
"Thanks. You want some water ma?"
"No thank you." She kindly denied. Thirty minutes later everyone started rolling in. We gave out everything from pencils to binders to backpacks.
"3 damn pencils." I looked at them lined up as the 5:00 sun scorched the side of my face.
"You did something good." They smiled.
"Yeah yeah. We gotta go meet them Russians again."
"Ight." They all agreed before we put everything up and rolled out.
"Good day."
"Good day." We did the normal procedure and went our separate ways.
"Divide it." I told them and left out. I had planned to go see my aunt since she claims all these things I don't know.
"Hey baby."
"Yeah." I stepped in and sat down on her couch.
"Explain this to me."
"After the car accident '90, she took you. She hid you in England with Vector for 2 years. After she told me you were dead, we never spoke again. It came to my knowing recently that you were obviously alive. Trust me, I searched and I don't know how your records didn't show up." Tears started to form in her eyes.
"Bet." I smirked.
"What did she tell you?"
"She said that basically you were a druggie and she took me in while you were out selling your soul for crack."
"I've never done that." Her voice got high pitched. Liar.
"Ok." I got up and so did she.
"Where are you going?"
"Home."
"At least tell me what you do for a living." I laughed knowing she really didn't want to know.
"I sell drugs." I closed the door and left her there to process the information.
Freaky by Young Thug played as I pulled up in the driveway, next to Deven's car.
"What did I tell you?"
"Whatever. How was your day?"
"I have a hangover."
"Well then. You know what happened?"
"Nope."
"My wife followed me here."
"When?" I cocked an eyebrow at him.
"Today. She's in that blue Avalon around the corner."
"See, I told you to go home and stay away cause I do not feel like being bothered by that lil bitch knowing damn well she-" I was interrupted by him kissing me.
"Shut up dammit. Fuck her. We're divored. We've been divored for a year now. She just too attached to the dick."
"Deven you know that I-"
"Yeah, I know that right now you don't want a relationship cause niggas aint shit but I'm sticking around until you come to yo senses that all you need is a good nigga with some good dick."
"How am is supposed to trust you when you were with me-"
"I ain't cheating baby girl. We were what?"
"Friends."
"Kay then." He kissed my cheek and grabbed my hand, dragging me to his ex-wife's car. He stopped in front of it and kissed me, causing her to get out the car.
"Bitch you get-"
