I sat in the back as the preacher spoke kind words about the uncle I barely knew. His wife spoke, then his daughter, my mother and so on. I excused myself to the bathroom to go check up on my mother, she had been in there too long. I walked in to see a couple of other families that were attending funerals also. I peeped under the stalls, looking for her black sandals. I walked down to the stall and lightly tapped.
"Mom."
"I'm fine." She responded as if she were in a strain. I waited until the people left and locked the door.
"Mom open the damn door." I beat on it.
"I said I'm fine."
"Dammit." I searched through my clutch for a coin. I got the door unlocked and opened it to see her pressing the syringe in.
"Damn shame." I shook my head and scattered it on the floor as she searched for it like a hound dog. I unlocked the bathroom and went to my car, sitting while thinking about my dad.
"Hello?"
"Msgovkni. How's my father?"
"He's a very hard working man." He snickered before hanging up. I sighed before pulling off and going home.
"Hey babies." I spoke to my dogs as I finally let them in the house. They ran up the stairs to their room. I got out the dress clothes and put on some daisy dukes over my swim suit then called Deven.
"Hello?"
"Come over. Bring something to swim in." I smiled as I grabbed a couple of towels then went to my pool.
"Damn." He smiled as he took off his shirt, sitting by me.
"I apologize for the other day."
"It's cool. If you don't mind me asking, what was the issue?"
"I was pregnant once upon a time but my ain't shit ass boyfriend wanted me to get an abortion. I didn't want to so he beat me until I had a miscarriage." I started to tear up as my child would be eleven or twelve.
"Sorry. I just don't want to be with a child or woman when I know I'm not happy."
"It's fine."
"I never knew you had a pool."
"I keep it closed and cover cause of the dogs."
"Speaking of which, where are my babies?"
"I let them in the house."
We sat and talked about everything together before I was thrown in the pool. We chilled in the house before showering and we went to sleep.

Deven
I watched her sleep before sliding out of bed and down to the kitchen. I could hear growling behind me before I turned to face Phyla.
"Really?" I asked before she realised it was me and jumped on me.
"No." She got down then watched me cook breakfast.
"Go wake up Na." She stared at me for a second before running up the stairs, barking.
"Deven really." I turned and she was naked. She hugged me from behind and slipped her hands in my shorts.
"Chill." I smiled and she lightly pulled at my pubes before grabbing my butt.
"Yo! Get fucked up." I looked at her as she washed her hands and grabbed a peice of bacon. I fixed her plate and she added more before I went to go sit on the couch, watching TV.
"You a lil fat ass." I joked as she sat in my lap.
"I want you to eat."
"I'll eat later."
"Nope cause it's all on this plate." She held up a peice of bacon to my mouth before I took a bite.
"What time do you work?"
"I don't."
"OK." We ate and stuff before I took her out to the mall then chilled at her house for the rest of the day.
