The picture is just a little cosplay sneak peak for the next chapter/ episode that I thought was ADORABLE!!
~ ~ ~ ~As the front few Cybermen raise their arms to delete us, the Doctor pulls the TARDIS power cell out of his pocket and uses it to disintegrate all the Cybermen surrounding us.
"What the hell was that?" Rickey demands in shock.
The Doctor rolls his eyes and yells over his shoulder as he takes my hand in his, "Or, how bout instead, RUN!" he yanks my hand and starts to lead us away just as a large blue van pulls up next to us honking.
"Everybody in!" The woman calls out to us. And while the Doctor hesitates, Rickey and Jake immediately climb into the van. Pete starts to run back to the house, only to have the Doctor pull him to a stop, "I have to go back. My wife's in there."
"Anyone inside that house is dead." I flinch as I look up at his harsh words, and guilt fills my chest as I look up at Pete, "If you want to help, then don't let her die for nothing. You've got to come with us right now." He pushes Pete towards the van, but pauses when he notices me staring at the house, he grabs my hand and whispers in my ear, "Lily, she is not your mother."
"I know." I say in sad resignation as he squeezes my hand and leads me to the van as well.
"Come on! Get a move on!" The driver yells as we finally enter the van, and Rose and I share a tight hug before I sit beside the Doctor. "Finished chatting?! Never seen a slower getaway in my life!" She yells back at us condescendingly before driving us away.
The Doctor holds the power cell in his hand as he checks over the little used-to-be-green light. "What was that thing?" Rickey demands from his spot up front.
"Little bit of technology from my home."
"Is it okay that it's stopped glowing?" I ask as I look at the little light in his hand, squeezing his other hand that's still in my grip.
"It's on a revitalizing loop, it'll charge back up in about four hours." He reassures me quickly.
Rickey quips, "Right, so we don't have a weapon anymore."
"Yeah we've got weapons." Jake corrects from beside him, "Might not work on those metal things, but they're good enough for men like him." He directs towards Pete, who winces a bit.
Rose, who's sitting next to him on the bench across from the Doctor, Mickey and I, leans forward as she yells at Jake, "Leave him alone! What's he done wrong?"
Jake scoffs, "Oh you know, just laid a trap that's wiped out the government and left Lumic in charge."
"If I was part of all that, you think I'd leave my wife inside?" Pete demands in outrage.
"Maybe your plan went wrong." Rickey counters fiercely, "Still gives us the right to execute you, though."
I lean forward in my seat to yell at both men in the front seats, "Nobody has any right to execute anyone! No matter what!" The Doctor squeezes my hand before letting it go, only to wrap it around my waist to keep me in my seat, instead of going after them.
"Talk about executions, you'll make me your enemy! And take some really good advice; you don't want to do that." He threatens them with a deep glare.
Rickey rolls his eyes, "All the same, we have evidence that says Pete Tyler's been working for Lumic since twenty point five."
"Is that true?" Rose and I question Pete at the same time, disbelieving, but his guilty face makes my stomach churn.
"Tell them, Mrs. M" Rickey smirks at us- I'm really starting to like him less and less.
