First period was about to start and the girls told me they'd meet me in class.
So, when someone nudged me in the hall while I was digging for a pencil in my locker, I didn't expect it to be my old seat mate, Blake.
"Have ya heard?" He smiled with his boyish charm.
"Heard what?"
He brushed his hair back with his hand, "Hansen quit. And the rumors are fucking amazing."
I slammed my locker and stared him down, "Oh really." I bit down harshly on my jaw to keep myself from saying anything stupid. Especially to this kid since I hardly knew him.
"Yeah, but the biggest one is that she got knocked up by one of the guys in our class."
I crossed my arms, "Oh that's funny because the whole time she was here she was fucking me."
"Wha?" Blake said confused then his face turned soft and he started laughing. He playfully punched my shoulder, "You're so funny, Y/N. Woo! You almost got me." After he wiped the happy tears from his eyes he pulled me over to the class, "C'mon. Class is about to start and you don't want this bitch on your ass."
I decided to just shake it off and let him think I was joking. I don't need any rumors spread about me even though it hurts to hear these about Dinah.
I walked in to see a gray haired, short lady with thick glasses writing on the board in very small letters. Almost unreadable.
The bell rang loudly and the scrawny old lady yelled out, "Sit down and shut up!"
"Oh fuck." I groaned to myself, taking my seat beside Lauren.
I am not ready to deal with this rude ass bitch.
Her small eyes were magnified in the thick prescription glasses as she scanned the class. They landed on me
and a crooked smile was placed on her, "And you must be Y/N. Is there a reason why you decided to skip my class yesterday?""What do you mean skip?" I chuckled, "I was at home. Sick."
"Please." She responded sassily before turning back towards the board as she continued talking, "You missed a wonderful introduction yesterday but I guess I can review it for you."
She finally finished writing on the white board to turn around and glare at me, "I am
Mrs. Walsh. I do not respect clowning around, talking, or any electronic device that wasn't made before the year 1934.""What the hell? You're like a dinosaur." I mumbled under my breath but the whole class giggled quietly.
"Would you like to say that again, Ms. Y/L/N?"
I shook my head and allowed her to continue.
"Now, as I was saying. I will not play around like your last teacher. Apparently, she was a fuddy duddy who didn't teach any of you anything."
"That's not true." I responded angrily. Everyone, including Ms. Walsh, turned their attention towards me. "You didn't know Ms. Hansen. How about you lay the hell off before we all start making shit up about you."
Everyone 'oo'ed happily and some even chuckled.
"I will not take this type of behavior." She demanded. "When you are in my class, I, the teacher, am always right."
I shook my head in defiance, "Not if you're going to talk crap about past teachers you've never met in your life."
"Are you willing to get a referral, Ms. Y/L/N? Because if you keep speaking to me like this, I will happily send you on your way to the office."
