Chapter 16

Chapter 16| Aurora

"Aurora.. Th-There's something I need to tell you" Zander says nervously. "What is i-it?" I say a little unconfidently. Did something bad happen?!

He chuckles "You know, we've known each other for about 6 months, and we aren't even officially dating.." He drifts off. My eyes widen and my cheek bones start to flush a light pink tone.

"So, Aurora Anderson.. Would you like to be my girlfriend?" Zander says as we stare into each other's eyes. He shows kindness, love, attraction behind those beautiful blue eyes.

"I would love to be your girlfriend, Zander Harrison" I say. He smiles and gives me baby kisses all over my face "I also hope to be your wife one day" I say as I smile and run my fingers over Zander's chest.

"And I would also hope to be your husband one day" He says and kisses my temple. I smile and close my eyes, and before I know it, I fall asleep.

I wake up and see Zander is still asleep. I get up and walk to the bathroom. I clean my face and brush my teeth.

I walk back to my room and look for some clothes when I feel a pair of hands hold my waist. "I have to go to my dad's today, I'll see you tonight baby" He says.

"Aww alright" I say as I turn around and kiss him "Tell your dad I said hi!" I say with a smile. He looks a bit uneasy but smiles and hugs me "I will"

He leaves and I start to look for more clothes. I start to wonder what to do at this point. I don't really want to hang out with anyone today, but I also don't wanna just stay here. Hmmm.

I get the amazing idea to go to the bank where I have all the money Jackson's parents gave me while we were dating and use some to buy a computer. I can buy a mac computer if I really wanted to, And i'd still have enough money to buy china

Okay not that much, not at all, but I mean I do have a bit of money collected from that horrible experience.

I put some sweatpants over my shorts, grab my keys, and leave the house. I go into my car and start the engine, put on my seatbelt then drive off to the bank.

I take some money out, since I don't like buying stuff with my credit card a lot of the time. I do it anyway, just not in large amounts.

I then head off to the apple store. I walk in and walk around to see what I could find. I look at a beautiful pink macbook.

I smile and check it out. I check the price and realize I have just enough to pay for it. I ask an assistance for one and he ends up helping me set it up and everything, he was so helpful.

I pay and then walk out to the door. I bump into someone then quickly apologize. "No no it's okay" I hear a familiar voice say.

I look up and see Alex picking up my purse and a few loose change that fell alone with it. "Oh Aurora" Alex says with a chuckle "I said I was sorry!" I say and pout.

"You need help?" Alex says then grabs what I bought. "You really don't have to" I say "It's okay, don't worry. Do you need a ride?.." He drifts off

"No no, I brought my car, but thank you" I say "It's no problem, do you need anything?" He asks. I smile as we walk up to my car.

"Alex, i'm okay. I promise that If I need anything I'll tell you" I say. "Hmm. You promise?" He asks. "Do I break my promises?"

"No, no you don't" he says and smiles. "Exactly! I gotta go now I don't want to leave my dad alone for to long, I'll see you soon!" I say.

"I'm glad you take really good care of your dad, but goodbye Aurora take care" he says as he gives me a soft hug.

"You too Alex," I say and hug him back. I take my keys out and unlock the back door. Alex places the laptop on the back seat then closes the door. I get in the drivers seat and turn on the engine.

Alex waves with a smile. I automatically smile and wave back. I then drive off back to my house. I play some music softly then start to hear ambulances. Of course, I drive off to the side as the ambulance drives off in full speed.

I continue to drive, but stop by the gas station to get some gas. While I was at it, I grabbed some lighters for my candles back home, I've been really wanting to use some candles Zander brought me from bath and body works.

I head back home then see the ambulance right in front of Zander's house. I automatically stop my car in literally the middle of the street and run to his house.

I see my dad having a hard time getting out of the house so I hurry and grab his arm and pull him to the ambulance. I see Zander's dad getting taken out of the house and into the ambulance.

I grab Zander's hand "Zander what the hell happened?!" I ask with desperation in my voice. His hand is cold and is shaking horribly. He hugs me tightly and kisses my forehead.

"Aurora" he chokes out and starts crying. I rub his back and run my hands through his hair. "Wh-What happened?!" I ask.

"M-M-My dad.." He says as he starts sobbing once again. "Zander.. Calm down, calm down" I say. I then hear the ambulance taking off and cup Zander's cheeks and look him in the eyes.

"He.. He-He's gone"
