Texting THE Avengers

Author's Note - February 1st, 2025 - Bring Forth the Heroes

Hey guys! It's been a long while. Almost four years. The wild thing is, I'm almost an adult. 

I started writing this fanfiction during covid, and the readers, the OG ones at least, were a part of my will to live during covid. Covid was rough, quarantine and everything. But with every new chapter there was more reason to be okay and to continue on. So, for that, I thank you all. 

I was fourteen when the first chapter was posted. In a couple of months, I'll be eighteen. It has been years since I wrote any kind of fanfiction because to me, at least it's what I believe now, fanfictions can prove to be an essential part of a journey to something more. I want to be an author someday. A published author. Which is where this part comes in. 

The next step of my journey: Bring Forth the Heroes. 

Here's the synopsis of the story I'm in the progress of writing: 

Nine years after a villain named Arisen took advantage of an earthquake's death toll to convert the United States into a place of villainy, a teenage girl who worships old-age superheroes learns of her own supernatural abilities. With the ability to be like the heroes everyone used to adore, she convinces a couple of new friends to use their powers to do good. The world hadn't seen superheroes like them in a long while and the supervillains who are considered the most elite consider this new group of superheroes to be a massive threat. The group of new superheroes has bitten off more than they can chew, and without knowing the identities of the villains around them, there is no one they can trust besides each other.

Yes, I'm still into superheroes. Who can blame me? They're crazy cool. But, if you'd like to become a part of this journey, my journey into becoming a published author, feel free to join my discord. If you don't want to read that, I do have something more for you. A while back, I wrote my first ever fanfiction, and I published it. I took it down because I thought it was cringe (I still do), but I will be reopening it for those who wish to read it or for those who found me because of it. It is another Avengers fanfiction. You'll be able to find it on my profile. 

This is my final hurrah on Wattpad. I love you all, I'm so grateful for what this has given me. I hope, with your help, that it can give me more. Maybe someday I'll be all I wish I could. But for now, chow! It's been amazing, but it's time that I take my next step. Into college, authoring, singing, etc. I wish you all the best.
