Chapter 9: Battle Against Dreams.

(Trip's POV)
"Do you think I'm god damn stupid!" I yell with a sudden surge in confidence and anger
"Where did that come from?" Katie asks
"Who the hell cares... I know how dangerous he is... I know his power... And we know he's from the bloody X-Vaults!" I shout and then there's a hand on my shoulder and I turn to see it's Wes
"Please calm down... For me" Wes says calmly
"Do you guys think Trans-matter Serum is harmless?" I question still with an angry tone, they needed to know what they were up against, and this was the only way since Time Force files were extremely lacking in certain information,
"Well it hasn't hurt anyone" Jen says
"That's what you think" I say
"What do you mean?" Eric asks concern on his face and Wes looks at me as well with the same concerned look
"Sweetie what do you mean?" Wes asks
"I mean this isn't the first time I've met DreamCrusher but it's going to be the last" I say
"What do you mean?"Jen asks grabbing my shoulder
"Let me go... You barely even know the extent of a Xybrian gem so I suggest you back off" I say coldly and she let's go stepping back
"Trip please tell me what you meant" Wes says sounding worried and I take off my jacket and then my shirt to reveal scars all across my chest
"You planned this didn't you?" I shout to the sky
"Of cause I did... Consider this Trip... My revenge!" DreamCrusher states
"He knows your name" Lucas says
"Of cause he does" I sigh
"Case 45,120 or the DreamLine case remember Jen... Back then all you guys use to do was tease me, bully me, hurt me and then I was successful in taking down the 5th most dangerous mutant and I gained your respect... But you didn't know what I went through... The torture I received just to take him down and it was all by myself to... No back up, no team" I explain angrily "he wanted me there... He tortured me with that serum... Concentrated enough and it can burn and rip apart skin... The serum on earth is for transmitting matter the one he used on me was Trans-Quantanium Serum... More deadly then you can possibly imagine" I explain
"You will never know the pain I went through for you all" I say and I start to walk away
"I'm not facing DreamCrusher again... He is more deadly then any mutant we have faced before ... if Time Force wants to get killed then so be it but I'm not being apart of it... Not this time... Wes if you really love me you'll follow" I say continuing to walk and then I hear foot steps
"I'll always be by your side" Wes says and we continue to walk away

Real World, 3000.
(3rd Person POV)
"The rangers are breaking apart" Logan says
"Trip's past is the key to this... But there's more he's not telling... He's met DreamCrusher a very long time ago" the mysterious man says

(Trip's POV, Dream World)
"Look I'm sorry for what happened before" I say to Wes
"It's ok... But you should have told me" he says
"I know... Ok look that case wasn't the first time... Just let me explain" I say and he nods

-flashback-
(Xybria, A Very Long Time Ago)
I was seven at the time in my home village, I was playing with some friends of mine in the village square when a strange rainbow cloud covered the village and everyone, my friends and my family disappeared,
"hello!" I shouted " where did you everyone go?" I questioned but I never got an answer and so for the next month I was the only person that lived in my village and it became a very lonely place to be.

About a month after that everyone suddenly appeared out of nowhere and from what I could tell they were all unharmed, but I soon noticed something different,
"hey you guys are back" I said to one of my friends but he looked at me confused so i ran up to another friend
"hey where did you guys go?" I asked but again i got the same look so i made my way home think they were just being strange but as soon as I entered,
"who are and what are you doing in our house?" my father asked
"it's me dad, Trip" I answered
"dad? what are you talking about?" my father questioned
"your my dad" I said
"I don't have a son, now leave before i call the village guards" he said with anger in his voice which frightened me so much that I ran out of the house and out of the Village, my own family and friends had forgotten me.

A day after the whole planet had forgotten me and that's where my real torture began, as for the next few years I had to scavenge to survive, no one would take me in and the way people would look at me made me feel uncomfortable. When I finally turned eleven I managed to make my way to the Xybrian Capitol City as it was the only city on the planet with a space port and within that same day I had stowed away on a freighter bound for earth. 

-end of flashback-
"But he followed me here... He's been out to torture me since then" I finish
"Trip..." Wes says pulling me close hugging me tightly
"I want this to end" I say "I can't take his torture any more" I finish

"You don't have to"I hear Eric's voice say
"You followed me" I say
"We had to... We're a team" he says and the others reveal themselves
"We never knew about what happened on your home world" Katie says
"You didn't know because I didn't want you to know" I say
"Why?" Lucas asks
"Because I can never go back... They don't even know I exist" I state
"We can fix that" Jen says
"The only way to fix it is to actually kill DreamCrusher or to get him to reverse it but the latter is impossible and the former is also impossible" I say
"How exactly did he make them forget?" Wes asks
"I don't know... It's was like I was never born" I say
"Maybe because all memory of you was erased" I hear circuit say as he flys to me
"What do you mean circuit?" I ask
"I scanned Xybria's Atmosphere and found the presents of dream state serum over the planet... The only one not affected was you Trip" Circuit explains
"What does that mean?" I ask
"It means that they're dreaming of a life without you Trip and DreamCrusher made it a reality by merging the worlds over eachother" Circuit says
"Merging the worlds... Wait..." I start before looking at myself
"Umm... Did you bring my shirt and jacket?" I ask
"Yeah and your bag" Lucas says handing them to me and I put my shirt and jacket on before going through my bag finding what I need... The cryogenic tube
"This if set to it's maximum setting could reverse everything DreamCrusher ever did" I state
"What do you mean reverse?" Wes asks
"I mean earth would return to normal and my people would be pulled from the dream state" I say
"The balance restored" Katie says
"The balance restored" I confirm
"So question is... How do we catch a DreamCrusher?" Jen asks
"Easy... Play a game" I say

"The game of dreams" I state with a smile
