Chapter 3- Living With A Ninja!?

*Sakura's POV*

The door slid open and I couldn't believe who I saw.

"Hey Kin, I just wanted to stop by to-" Natsume said walking in and stopped when he saw me. His eyes popped open wide. "What are you doing here!?" He asked loudly. Kinshiro said "You know her, Natsume?"

"A little... She comes into the store everyday."
"Great, then she can stay at your place."
"Huh!?" Natsume and I both stared at Kinshiro in shock. "Kin, she can't stay with me! No way!"
"Sakura doesn't have a place to stay so, I'm putting her in your care."

Natsume sighed in defeat. "Ugh, fine. I forgot why I came here in the first place... I'll take my leave now. Come on, Sakura." Natsume walked out of the room and I quickly stood up. "Bye Haku, Kinshiro. Thank you for everything!" I said and ran after natsume.

Natsume took me back to the library and signalled me to go into the back. I followed behind him into a large bedroom, which looked like it hasn't been used in a while. The only thing that was in the room was a folded up futon. "You will be sleeping here. I'll just be in the room, next door." He said and pointed to a door in a corner.

"I'm sorry about all this..."
"Nothing we can do about it now." He stated and went back into the main library. That was a little harsh... He seems colder than usual...

Days passed by and I think he started to warm up to me a bit more.

I carried new books that had just come in, to the shelf. I looked up towards where the new book was suppose to go but-

"I-I can't reach..." I whispered to myself and looked towards Natsume's desk. Natsume who had been sitting at his desk just a second ago, had disappeared. I sighed and got on my tippy toes to put away the book when, someone had snatched the book from my hand.

Natsume looked at me scoldingly holding the book. "You should ask for help, if you can reach the shelf."
"Sorry, I didn't see you at your desk..."
"Then call for me, it's not that hard to figure out."
"I'm sorry..."
"Ah, jeez... Don't appologize, just ask for help more." Natsume said turning red and scratched his head after putting away the book.

Just then someone called over Natsume from the front. "Natsu!" Natsume walked up to the front and greeted the three people who stood there. "Aoi, Sion, Hotaka? What do you want? I never see you guys here." I walked over as well.

These guys... I feel like I've seen them before... But where? The man wearing a woman's kimono looked over at me and smiled "what a pretty girl! Is this your girlfriend Natsu!?"
"What!? Of course not!"
Something burned in my chest as he denied it. I shook my head and asked "um... Have we met before...? I think I remember seeing you somewhere."

The three men seemed confused and the one with blue hair, done up nicely said "I don't remember meeting you. I'm Aoi, this is Sion, and Hotaka." Sion and Hotaka smiled brightly and Sion asked "what might your name be?"
"S-Sakura. Sakura Nanami."

After nonsense of talking- they all asked Natsume for a ladder and left. "Man... I think I needed that ladder... We can't reach the top shelf." I giggled and he pulled my cheeks apart. "Yowh! Nasumeh!? Wet oh of me! It urts a wot!" I complained and he smiled mischievously. "Sorry, what was that? I can't understand you."

"H-hei! Is not funneh! Is urting mee! Hat did I do tis time?"
"What did you do? I told you many times not to laugh at me. You will pay the price. So... What happens if I stretch you cheeks even farther?"
"Y-yo hill rip hem off! Wet go now!"

He released me and I covered my cheeks and pouted. "You bully... That really hurt..."

He laughed at me and I stormed back into the library, finishing putting away the books.
