Death is like a shadow that creeps up and overtakes us.
No matter what the circumstances, death is always a bit of a shock.
It closes a chapter in the lives of other people who feel the loss.
And it brings with it sadness, loneliness, and pain.
Yet death is not the final word, if you believe in life after death.
This life is really just an introduction to Eternity.
Each person's life is unique and significant.
We leave behind a legacy for our families, friends, and others.
Choose carefully, then, how you live your life,
So that you leave this world a better place.
Then death can be happy as well as sad.
A celebration of the past - and the future.
A challenge for others to remember and carry on
All the good things you left with them.
