Kindergarten: My Reputation

M-My special bracelet... I-it's gone!
...

It was finally time to commence my mission, making new friends!
My targets were already set on fine boy Yuuga, and pretty girl Yuta.
For me, then, it was all about standing out; 'the more I stood out, the better' was all I thought.

"Hey, Sakura right? Do you wanna play ball with us" Shima asked, holding a plain kick ball while gesturing towards the exit, where the twins, and Fuji stood waiting.

Yuuga was reading a story at that time, which to me, was no fun at all-

I replied positively, excited. I couldn't pass up such fun, so I decided there was always a next time to approach Yuuga.

I was following Shima outside, when I realised that I wasn't wearing my shoes...
In alerted him asking him to wait as I rushed to get them from the shelves.

As I approached the shoe shelves, I spotted Yuta putting something into a bag.
I approached her... Because, why not!

"Hey Yuta, whatcha up to?" I asked

She was startled for a bit and then replied,

"Oh this! I'm just helping out a friend. She asked me to help her put her camera inside her backpack! Hehehe" came her reply.

'Someone brought a camera to school!'

I was excited to find out that someone from our class could use a camera.
The first person that came to mind was Taiyou. She seemed like the type to be able to use a camera.

I snuck a peek at the bag and realised -

"HEY! THAT'S UCHIKA'S BAG!"

"Wha- h-how can you be so certain" She asked, looking uneasy.

"It says 'Uchika' right there" I said nonchalantly, pointing to the tag on the bag

"Oh- right"

"When did you become friends with Uchika? She seemed really reserved and-"

"I just have a way with people! Everyone wants to be friends with me you know" She interrupted pridefully, and I couldn't help but agree with her. Heck, I wanted to be her friend SO bad.

"That's true" I responded "But, the camera, how does she know how to use one..."

"Er... well, she said not to tell anyone, but the camera was the only friend she had.
"Her only friend?" I asked, obviously confused about how a camera could be a friend.
I'll spare you the details, but she started rambling about how Uchika's bestie lied to her, then she became heartbroken, had trust issues, and suddenly, her dad got her a camera, which never lied to her, and then, they became inseparable.
Something like that...
But the way Yuta delivered it was so refined, like an autobiography where nobody dies!

As you guys have grabbed, she has a very large vocabulary for her age, and I think it's cool (show off -_-)

"Woah" was all I could mutter.

"I know" she said, with an air of pride.

"Who would've thought that Uchika would share her traumatic back story with a total stranger!" I mumbled under my breath. But, I guess Yuta has great hearing, because she took an offence to that and replied-

"O-of course she did! After all, I am Furui Yutak-"

"Hey Sakura, what's taking you so long?" Came the sudden interruption from Shima, and that was when I remembered my original mission, to get my kicks.
