You didn't even your eyes, and you could already feel the pain radiating in your head.

You let out a groan, wincing as the vibration causes a sharp pain to shoot behind your eye, stopping your grain abruptly.

"Hey, are you-"

You put your hand up, stopping Jake from talking. You sense he moves closer, the bed dipping down under his weight as he lays a hand on your shoulder. His voice is soft, "Migraine?"

You give him a thumbs up, holding the blanket over your eyes and he sighs, "Aw babe." He gives your shoulder a gentle, loving squeeze, "I'll go get your medicine."

"I have a stream today." You mumble, rolling over. You move the blanket from your mouth, keeping it over your eyes, "I hope this goes away before then."

"Cancel it, sweetheart."

His words cause a feeling of guilt to wash over you, "I can't do that." Your lip quivers as the pained guilt takes over, "I-I-" you take a deep breath and Jake walks back over, "You need to worry about you, baby. Okay? They'll understand."

"Can you do it for me?" You ask and Jake runs his hand over your hair, "You got it, I'll get your medicine first."

He walks over and pulls each curtain closed before leaving the room. He comes back a few minutes later, medicine, water, and two washcloths.

"Here." He sits down next to you, helping you sit up, "Water." He hands you the water before opening your medicine bottle, "Meds." He places the pill in your palm and brings a warm washcloth to rest on the back of your neck.

You lay down and he places the cool one over your eyes, "Where is your phone? Is it charging?"

"Yes. Nightstand." You motion with your hand blindly and he takes it and kisses it, "Do you need anything else?"

"Just you."

He chuckles, "Let me update the people first."

You lay your arm over his waist and he sighs, "Fine, convinced me enough." He grabs your phone from the stand and lays back with you. He opens twitter, writing out a tweet, Hi, Jake here. Y/n is down with a migraine so she is going to reschedule her stream at a later time. Thanks for understanding. She loves you tons.

He hits tweet, and moves to Instagram, opening your story. He takes a picture of himself, the top of your head poking in from the bottom, Jake here, y/n is going to reschedule her stream #migrainessuckass thanks for understanding! She loves you tons!

"All done." He sets your phone down and lays his hand on your shoulder. You nod slightly, mumbling a quiet, "Thank you."

He smiles, gently pressing a kiss to your head, "Not a problem, now rest. If you need anything, tell me."

You ended up falling back asleep for a little bit, waking up to Jake still laying with you. You sit up slightly, moving the washcloth from your eyes, "Can you pass me my w-"

You smile as he hands you your water, "Thanks." You open it and take a sip. He takes it back when you're done, "How do you feel?"

"Still hurts, but it's not at bad as it was when I first woke up."

He nods, "Let's try and get it to go away. Are you hungry? Maybe something eating something will help?"

You nod, "I can try. I'm just going to stay here if that's okay."

He chuckles, "I'm not dragging you out of bed. Of course it's okay." He smiles as you look at him through a squinted eye and you laugh slightly, "ow. It hurts to laugh."

"So don't laugh." He leans in, pressing a kiss to your lips, "Did the warm cloth help?" You nod and he gets up, picking it up from your pillow, "I'll be right back."

He's back in a few, "I got you a new one." He moves your hair and presses it to your neck, "Too hot?"

You shake your head slightly, letting out a sigh, "No that's good." He nods, helping you lay back down. He leans down, "I'll bring you something to eat."

"Okay. Thank you."

"Stop thanking me." He kisses your head, "It's what I'm here for." He leaves and you lay there, eyes closed as you gently massage your temple.

You hated when you get migraines. You felt like they ruined a lot. When you have one, you're down and out for part, if not all of the day. Jake never complained, but a part of you still felt bad because he waited on you hand and foot.

He's canceled streams, rearranged plans, and so on, just for you. He always assured you that it wasn't ever a problem, just like he did a little bit ago.

You were super grateful for him, you didn't know what you would do without him most days, especially days like today.

A little bit later, you heard quiet footsteps come back into the room, "Hey." He whispers, "I got you some lunch."

You opened your eyes, sitting up as Jake walks over to sit down. You looked over the food, your appetite coming back which is a good sign, "This looks so good."

"That's good." Jake sets it down, "Have at it."

He sits down as you start to eat, his fingers gently playing with the ends of your hair, "You know, even with a migraine, you're still as pretty as ever."

You glance over at him, smiling as you look away, "I love you."

He leans up, pressing a kiss to your shoulder, "I love you."

The rest of the day, you laid in bed with Jake, his fingers running through your hair. He made sure you took your medicine when you were supposed to, made sure your water was full and that you were drinking it. He pretty much nursed you back to health, because by the end of the day, your migraine was practically gone, and you were even more greatful for him.
