Chapter 3

Chapter 3: The Island of Men, Lemnos

“You know you truly love somebody when they hurt you so badly, but all you can think about it is the times when they made you smile.”

We looked blankly on Lamia, thinking of what about the “revenge” thing that Persephone told her a while ago.

“Island of Lemnos is in Prague at Czech Republic. 2 or 3 kilometers away in here” she said emotionless to us.

“There’s a train station going to Prague here” I said to them as I look on the Port de Luxe billboard. 

While we are in train, I tried to ask Lamia.

“Hey Lamia, umm, do you mind if I will ask about.... Revenge?”  I asked him shyly.

Lamia started solemnly. “Your mother is a good friend of mine. Actually, we are both your father’s lover” 

My eyes flung wide open. Lamia just continued in narrating.

“Yes, that is so true. I have many kids at him but because of Hera’s jelousy, she killed all my babies” she said, crying. We pat her back and tears began to fell on me and Antropos’ cheeks. 

“That’s why” Jinn said. 

When we arrived at Prague, we saw a normal city of people there.

“Lemnos is in the heart of Prague” Lamia told us.

“How can we be in there?” We asked.

Lamia gets her soul-iphone and pressed the number of Hades. Then, she turned her phone off.

“We should talk to the beggar below on that advertisement!” Lamia said as she pointed the dirty beggar. We go near to beggar. He looked on us and his eyes turned cheerful. “Demi gods!” he cried.

“Oh Hi!” we said to him.

“Island of Lemnos, please” Lamia continued.

The beggar stood up on his seat and transformed as a Willy wonka look a like. Then, he snapped his fingers and the place became an old English city.

“It is reall true. This Island is all men” Antropos said as her jaw dropped on the floor.

The men, wearing English suit, gave a look on us and gave us a bright smile. Antropos was greeted by the man with raven hair. 

“Oh! What a beautiful lady!” he said at her. Antopos hardly blushed.

Suddenly, the place fell on silence when a handsome guy from the tallest building comes out. He gave us his killer smile and winked at me. I blushed and Jinn seemed to notice it. He crossed his arms as he saw the cute guy.

“Prague is a fairy tale like city. How did you find it?” he said to me.

I tucked my hair behind my ear. “B-beautiful” 

“Glad to hear, m’ lady. By the way, I am Adonis, the leader of this Island” Adonis said as he kissed my right hand. 

“Europa...” he said as he whispered my mother’s name on my ears.

“N-no! I am her daughter” I said to him, not looking on his well sculpted face.

“I see.” Then, he held my cheeks and kissed my forehead. “You are so beautiful” he continued. I stayed stiff, looking blankly at him.

Jinn clenched his fist and tilt his head. 

On the last image I saw, I saw Antropos and Lamia fainted. I tried to look at them but they are faded. Then, I saw the faded image of Jinn and felt his arms wrapped in mine. Jinn cried on my name and blood splashed on my face.
