The next day, the sun had barely crept through the curtains when Jungkook found himself pacing back and forth in the living room, his face still pale and eyes red from the tears of the previous night. His heart still ached, but there was no time to wallow. He had made up his mind-he was leaving, and nothing would stand in his way.

"Dad, I said give me money! I'm going to Japan!" he demanded, voice rising with the kind of intensity only a hurt, stubborn child could muster. His hands were clenched at his sides, and his eyes were filled with a mix of desperation and defiance. He could feel the weight of the decision pressing on him, but it wasn't just about running away-it was about escaping the unbearable pain of losing someone he believed he could never have.

His father, however, was unfazed. Mr. Jeon didn't even look up from his morning paper, his expression as calm as ever. He simply shook his head, the corner of his lips curving into a mild, almost amused smile. "No, you're going to stay here. We're not having this conversation, Jungkook," he said, his tone firm but gentle.

Jungkook's fists tightened, and his lips wobbled as his tears began to fall again. "Give me money! I want to go to Japan!!" He shouted, his voice shaking with frustration, but still his father remained unaffected, continuing to ignore his pleas. The more his dad refused, the more his own resistance grew. This was a game he wasn't willing to lose.

His father simply cleaned his ears nonchalantly, like a man who had dealt with tantrums far worse than his son's.

"Don't ignore me, Dad! You're ruining my life!!" Jungkook screamed, his frustration bubbling over. His lips quivered, the tears now openly flowing down his cheeks, but Mr. Jeon didn't even flinch. He simply raised an eyebrow, clearly unshaken.

With a huff, Jungkook stood up, his feet stomping the ground like a child deprived of his favorite toy. He crossed his arms over his chest, puffing out his cheeks dramatically as he shot his father a resentful glare. "Fine! Then I'll ask Gyeomie for money! Let's see if he cares!"

Just as he finished his declaration, the door swung open, revealing none other than his best friend, Yugyeom. Jungkook's eyes lit up like a puppy seeing its owner. "Gyeomie!!" He called out, his voice lifting in a mix of relief and hope. He ran up to his friend, his words flowing out in a rush of childish determination. "Give me money! I need to go to Japan! Settle there! Dr. Kim is marrying someone else, and I can't take it! I'm going to find someone better!" He stood tall as if announcing a battle plan, his chin held high and his posture full of defiance. He was going to leave, and the world would have to follow.

Yugyeom looked at him, an amused smirk spreading across his face. He didn't even need to hear the entire story to know what was happening. He knew how deeply Jungkook felt, but he wasn't about to just hand over money without some serious consideration.

"Jungkook, you're not going anywhere," Yugyeom said, crossing his arms, his gaze playful but firm. "And I'm not just going to throw money at your little tantrums." He shook his head, clearly having dealt with his best friend's dramatic moments before.

Jungkook, however, was having none of it. His face twisted into a pout, the exaggerated wobble of his lips the picture of theatrical distress. He crossed his arms, stomped his foot hard against the floor, and let out a loud, exaggerated sigh. "Fine!" he huffed, his tone dripping with childish sarcasm. "Then I'll run away! To Gunwoo's house! I'll marry him! Yes! Gunwoo is my hubby now, and I'm leaving! You all can rot here, but I'm going to live my best life with my husband!"

He twirled around in the most exaggerated fashion, his hips swaying with a dramatic flair, before strutting toward the door, but before he could even take a step further, Mr. Jeon's voice rang out, calm yet filled with a certain authority. "Sweetie, you can't just pick anyone and call them your husband." His tone was like a steady hand, unmoved by Jungkook's theatrics.
