Chapter 4

Next day I wake up to the sunshine coming from the window. I look at my alarm clock and see that it's 9:00 in the morning so I take my pijamas off and get dressed (www.polyvore.com/really_cute_dress/set?id=168643170). I go brush my hair and put it in a ponytail and go downstairs. I find Anthony in the kitchen making some eggs with bacon for breakfast.

"Good morning" I say taking a seat.

"Oh, good morning, Sherlyn" He says smiling. "Are you ready to go with Dylan today?

"I am. But, can I go say bye to my friends before we leave?" I say pleadingly.

"I think you should ask your mum for that." He says.

"Please, Anthony. Just let me go to say goodbye to them. I'll probably won't see them in a long time" I say with puppy eyes making him chuckle.

"How can I say no to those big blue eyes?" He says sighting. "Alright, you can go. But have some breakfast first." I nood and he puts a plate with a piece of bacon and eggs in front of me. I get some orange juice and a piece of fruit too. After 15 minutes, I finish my breakfast and put my shoes on to go outside.

"Anthony, I'm going now. I'll be back in around a half an hour." I say but he stops me grabbing my arm.

"Aren't you going to call them first?" He says raising his eyebrows.

"Mum took my phone yesterday, remember?" I say looking down. He smiles at me and hands me the iphone 5 I have.

"Call them first, but mum can't know this alright?" He says and I nood smiling. 

"Thank you, Anthony" I say and he noods. I open my phone and call my Kienna first. After 3 sounds, she picks it up.

"Hello?" She says.

"Hello, Kienna! It's Sherlyn. I need to meet you and Thomas in 5 minutes! It's important" I say.

"Ah, alright! What about meeting in the park at the end of the street?" She says. It's great when your bestfriends are your neighbours too.

"Sure! I'll call Thomas then! See you there in 5!" I say.

"See you!" She says back and we close our phones. After that I call Thomas and we all meet at the park we use to hang out since we met for the first time.

"What is so important, Sher? I was doing my hair!" Thomas says with a sassy voice that makes Kienna and me laugh.

"Your hair is perfect, Thomas!" Kienna says chuckling. He noods proudly and caress his hair with his hand. I roll my eyes at his sassyness and go back to the main subject.

"Well, guys. I need to tell you something" I say a bit sadly.

"What happen? Is everything ok?" Kienna asks worried.

"Yes, it is. My brother came yesterday to my house from his "The maze runner" set" I say smiling.

"That's amazing! Your brother is so cool. I bet you'll have an awesome time together while he's here" Thomas says putting his skateboard on the ground.

"It is amazing. But, yesterday he told me that I am going to live with him for some time." I say and their faces drop.

"Oh," Kienna says. "Where does he live?"

"He's living in New York now." I say looking down. "He talked to my parents yesterday and they say that it would be great for us to have some time together."

"I see. Well, I bet that New York is so amazing, Sher. " Thomas says and I see Kienna holding her tears.

"Aw, Kienna. Don't cry. I'll just be gone for some time. I bet I'll be back before you realize I left." I say hugging her.
