Chapter 22

*Next day

I wake up to the sunshine getting into my room through the window and I realize that everyone's waken up already. I check my phone and see that I have a bunch of messages from my friends

T: Sherlyn! Are you ok? Oh my god Kienna and me are so worried!

S: Don't worry I'm fine now :-P. 

K: What happened?

S: My old dad kidnapped me yesterday...

T: Really? Are you alright? 

S: I could be better because I'm scared he'll come back and get me again. But I'm fine so far. I was lucky that the police came to save me.

K: Do you want to meet in the afternoon? I think it would be good so you can relax.

S: Sure! Lets meet at 1:00 pm at the mall?

T&K: Alright bye!

S: Bye!

After that, I go on my computer and open youtube. I look for some covers of songs that I like and fall in love with the videos that 5 Seconds of Summer used to upload before they were famous. I look to my blue acoustic guitar that was resting on one of my room's corners and pick it up. I know how to play Let Her Go so I start playing the chords and singing to it. "Maybe I should open a youtube channel and upload my covers too" I think to myself and start looking for a video camera. I realize that I've never had any so I run downstairs where I find my dad and the rest of the guys. 

"Morning guys!" I say smiling.

"Someone's happy today!" Aml exclaims.

"I need a video camera. Do you guys could let me have one of yours?" I ask

"Why do you need it?" My dad asks. I hope he lets me upload videos on youtube. 

"Ahm" I start to say "I'd really really like to start a youtube channel." I say with puppy eyes. He chuckles and suspires.

"I'll let you start a channel if you promise me that you'll be careful with the things you upload there" He says smiling.

"I'll upload covers" I say excitedly.

"Ooh!" Dylan says "We have a new talent in the family!" We all laugh. 

"Yeah yeah. Could I please get a video camera?" I ask pleadingly.

"You can use my old one" Dylan says and my face gets brighter "It's in my room"

"Thanks!" I say and go hug him. He hugs me back and smiles. Suddenly, my tummy groans making my dad laugh.

"Make sure you have some breakfast before alright?" He says and I nood. I go into the kitchen and grab a bowl full of fruit. After I eat it, I run up to my room and get dressed (www.polyvore.com/sin_titulo_136/set?id=176119999). After that I practice the song for a while and then I think I am ready to start recording. I put the camera on my desk and sit on my chair.

"Hello" I start to say to the camera. "My name's Sherlyn O'Brien and this is my first video. I am doing a cover of Let Her Go by Passenger so I hope you like it!" I smile and start to play the guitar and singing. I felt so happy singing this song and I really enjoyed doing this cover. I finally end up with the song and turn the camera off. I grab my computer and open youtube. After that, I plug the camera and start to upload the video with the title "Let Her Go- Cover by Sherlyn O'Brien". I then leave the room while it uploads and see that it's 12:30 already on my phone so I go put my shoes on.

"Where are you going?" Dylan asks.

"I'm meeting my friends at the mall. You guys wanna come?" I ask smiling.
