Chapter 9

"Sherlyn, wake up" I hear someone say. I still feel a bit dizzy so I am not able to open my eyes. "Sherlyn, come on, little girl" I hear again. Finally I can open my eyes slowly and I see a blurry unknown face right over me. After a few seconds I can see clearly a man's face looking at me. I sit up straight and start to panic.

"Who are you? Where am I?" I ask breathing heavily. "Where's my brother?"

"Calm, down Sherlyn. You got bit by snake. You are in the hospital" He says. "I'm going to get your brother" I nood and he goes out of the room. After a few moments I see Dylan and the rest of the cast getting inside the room.

"Oh my god" I say. "Did you all come to see me?"

"That's why we're here!" I hear Ki Hong Lee say smiling. I see that the Doctor's face is kind of upset which makes me smirk.

"Thanks a lot guys" I respond smiling. "Is Blake here?"

"Yep!" I hear him say between the crowd. "I'm here. Are you feeling ok?"

"Kind of. I'm feeling a bit dizzy yet." I say.

"I think you should sleep for a while more." Dylan says and I sight.

"Dylan, I've been sleeping for hours already" I say making him chuckle.

"Alright, alright" He says lifting his hands in defense "Do you need something?"

"It'd be amazing to get a drink and some candies from the cafeteria" I say smiling like a little child.

"Why would I ask" He says rolling his eyes. "Anyways. I'll be right back with the candies." And he gets out with Thomas and Will following him.

"I think I'm going to go outside for a moment to tell Wes that you're alright." Aml (Alby in The Maze Runner) says smiling. It's amazing that teenage movie of the moment cast is so worried about you. After that he goes out of the room as well.

"I'm kind of hungry. I'm going to get something from the vending machines. You wanna come?" Ki says to Blake who noods excitedly making me chuckle. They go out too leaving Kaya and me alone in the room.

"Alright, all the boys are out. We have some time to have a girly talk now" She says smiling and sits in front of me on the bed. "So, I don't know too much about you yet. Would you tell me somethings about you?"

"Sure" I say nooding. "Well, I am 13 years old and I used to live in California with my parents but three days ago Dylan came to visit, which made me so happy because it's been a long I don't see him"

"That must be hard for you" She says.

"Yeah, it is. I wish he could come more" I say. "Well, I have two best friends too!"

"Oh really? What are their names?"

"The girl is Kienna and the boy is Thomas. Like the Thomas we have here" I say making her chuckle. "Do you think that when they come here you could come with Kienna and me shopping?"

"Sure, thing!" She says smiling. "It will be amazing to have some time for us."

"Thanks a lot!" I say hugging her.

"Aw, Sherlyn, you're a sweet girl" She says hugging me back. In that moment Dylan and Will come back inside the room.

"Oh wow! Didn't want to interrupt the girls moment!" Will says smirking.

"Don't be an idiot" Kaya says chuckling making us laugh.

"Got your drink and your candies" Dylan says giving them to me.

"Thanks, big brother" I say sassily.

"You're welcome, little sister" He responds mimicating me.
