Dylan O'Brien's little sister

Chapter 8

Next day I wake up around 8:00 am and I find out that Dylan is not up yet so I decide to sneak out of the house and get in the pool. I put my swimsuit on and grab my towel and my flipflops. After that, being as silence as I can be, I go to the backyard from the kitchen backdoor and get inside the pool. 

"This feels so fresh" I say to myself. I start swimming around and play music on my phone. After 20 long minutes inside the pool, I start to feel hungry and I get back inside the kitchen to find Dylan making beagles with peanut butter and jelly. 

"Hey, Sher!" He says cheerfully. "How was the pool?"

"It's amazing. I wish I could have one like that" I say smiling.

"Enjoy this one as much as you want then" He responds and puts the beagles on the table. "Lets eat breakfast now. We have to be on set in 1 hour." I nood and sit to eat my breakfast, still in my swimsuit. After eating breakfast, I put my dish on the dishwasher and go to my room to get dressed. "Sherlyn! Lets go!" I hear Dylan yell from downstairs. Man, this guy is fast getting dressed.

"I'm coming!" I say and pick my phone, headphones and my E-book. I go downstairs and we go in the car. Dylan starts the engine and we arrive to the set in less than 15 minutes. "Will I meet Thomas today?" I ask excitedly.

"Yeahp" He says chuckling. "But remember not to freak out"

"Everything's under control" I say proudly and we go inside the huge building. There are corridors and doors all over it, which I find amazing.

"Hey!" Dylan says poking my arm.

"Yes?" I say getting out of my thoughts.

"Lets go to the backyar, that's where the Glade is" He says.

"The glade?" I ask raising an eyebrow.

"Yep! You'll know when you read the book" He says smiling and I nood. We go outside from a backdoor and see a group of guys and a girl chatting in the huge yard.

"Hey guys!" Dylan says and they turn so they're looking at us.

"Hey!" Will says. "Ready to record some scenes?"

"I always am" Dylan says proudly. Suddenly, I realize that Kaya looks at me.

"Who is this cutie?" She says making me blush.

"Oh, she is my little sister" Dylan says pushing my in front of them.

"Ahm, hi" I say shyly making them chuckle.

"What's your name?" Kaya asks. 

"Sherlyn" I say smiling.

"You're so cute" She says.

"Thank you" I respond blushing. 

"It's good to have another girl on set" She says making the guys laugh. "By the way, I'm Kaya. Nice to meet you" 

"Nice to meet you too" I say smiling. Suddenly I see Thomas Sangster and I try not to freak out. Unfotunately, Dylan realizes my wide open eyes.

"Thomas!" He says smirking. "This is my little sister, Sherlyn. She is so in love with you"

"Wh-what!?" I yell. "That's not true!" I say with my face as red as a tomato. Thomas laughs and bends down to my heigh.

"Hey, Sherlyn. How are you?" He says sweetly.

"I-I'm good." I say shyly. "It's really nice to meet you"

"It's nice to meet you too" He says smiling. "I'm sure Kaya is happy that another girl is on set"

"Oh, believe me she is." Dylan says. "I bet she is going to keep Sherlyn for her during these days."

"That'd be so cool" I whisper too loud that they hear me and Thomas chuckles.

"Hey! As if I wasn't the coolest brother ever" Dylan says putting puppy eyes.

"You are, Dylan. But it's nice that I don't have to live around guys all the time" I say smirking and he rubs my head playfully.

"Alright, sassy pants." He says chuckling. "I think we are going to start now. You can go and sit down there while we record" He points to some wooden chairs placed next to the movie director. I go sit there and Wes Ball (Film director) sits next to me.

"Oh, hey little girl. Who are you? Did you get lost?" He asks smiling to me.

"Ahm, no. I'm Dylan's sister. I'm going to live with him for a couple of time" I explain.

"Sounds amazing. If you're hungry you can have some snacks from my caravan" He says pointing his caravan.

"Thank you!" I say smiling and he noods.

"Ok guys!" He yells to the cast. "Everyone to their position! We're starting now!" After that everyone gets to their place and they start recording. 

After a while I start to get so bored and decide to grab some food from Wes' caravan. I get up from the chair I'm in and go inside. This is a really cool caravan. It has a lot of space. There is one couch and a big TV on one of the sides and on the other one there's the kitchen. I go in the fridge and grab a bar of chocolate. When I go outside I find a chubby kid around my age that made me jump.

"Oh hey" I say "You scared me."

"Sorry" He says. "I was recording one of my scenes but I've finished for today. Who are you?"

"I'm Sherlyn. Dylan's little sister. And you are?"

"Blake Cooper. I'm Chuck in the movie." He says offering me his hand to shake. I shake it smiling.

"Nice to meet you Blake. How old are you?" I ask letting his hand go.

"I'm 13, and you?"

"I'm 13 too!" I say too excitedly.

"That's awesome" He says smiling. "It's cool to have someone my age around here. The other ones are all older."

"Yeah, they're all grandpas and grandmas" I say and he laughs.

"Do you want to go to visit the set?" He asks.

"Sure! Sounds funnier than being sat on a chair" I respond and we go where they film the maze scenes. 

"This is where we record the maze scenes. It looks like a normal maze, but it looks amazing in the movie." He explains. "Do you want to play hide and seek?"

"Alright. Who counts first?" I say puting the chocolate wrapping in my pocket.

"I'll let the ladies have the honor" He says smirking.

"Ha-ha. Very funny" I say raising an eyebrow. "Ok, I'm starting!" I yell and he runs from me. I count to 50 and I'm ready to go look for Blake. "I'm coming! Ready or not here I go!" I yell and start looking for him. Suddenly I see something moving on one of the bushes and I start running to it. "I got you!" I yell but realize that it wasn't him. I sight and keep walking. How can he be so good at this? There are not too much places to hide outside here. I am looking around me when I feel a big pain on my ankle. I sit on the ground and see a snake getting away. I check my ankle and realize that I have just been bitten by a snake. I start to feel dizzy and my eyes get full of tears.

"Please! Help!" I yell from the top of my lungs. "A snake has just bit me" I start to cry harder and see Blake running to me.

"Sherlyn! I heard you screaming! What happened?" He asks worried and his eyes grow wide open when he sees the snake bite. "Oh my god! You need to go to the hospital! Come on! Lets tell the others" He says helping me to walk. I can't stop crying and feel more dizzy I almost trip and fall down.

"Blake, I'm dizzy. Please, go tell the others" I say sobbing. He places me carefully on the ground and starts running where the other ones are. 30 seconds later I feel someone picking me up like a baby.

"Sherlyn!" I hear Dylan. "Stay awake! Call the snakes tamer!" He yells and lays me on the ground lifting my head. Kaya goes to my feet and lifts them as well so my blood keeps running. After a few seconds I see a man with a medicine kit sitting next to me. After that I black out and faint.
