Hey y'all, sorry it's been so long... I have very good news to begin:
I'm starting a complete rewrite of Dark Places because WOW I really hate how I wrote the first act. So I've taken down all the chapters to rewrite all the prose and add more scenes because I could have expanded on District 6 and the 66th Hunger Games so much more. And in retrospect, some interactions between characters are weird, so I'll be changing dialogue, adding context, and basically rehashing the real message of Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games. Thanks for your patience as I try to get everything to standard <3 The first chapter should be posted this weekend!
Fair warning, my personal life is insanely hectic right now, as I'm about to graduate from university this semester and have to focus most of my time on applying for a profession that'll get me by until graduate school. For the time being, expect slow-ish updates as I try to balance 20 university credits, two part-time jobs, applying for jobs, and maintaining a social life (I get no sleep).
Thanks again for your patience. Please don't ask for updates, I'll post when I'm able.
